WHITESTOWN, Ind. – August 6, 2020 – Regions Bank on Thursday formally unveiled its first Boone County location.
The branch is part of the Mills Station at Anson development at the corner of Whitestown Parkway and Heartland Drive. While it is Regions’ first location in this growing area of Greater Indianapolis, it reflects the modern designs and updated features Regions has introduced at other Indy-area locations over the last few years.
Specially, the branch is designed to combine the financial insights and guidance of a local banking team with enhanced technology that gives customers more options and greater convenience.
“Whitestown is a place that’s experienced vibrant growth while maintaining a close-knit community feeling, and that makes it a perfect place for Regions to be,” said Erik Miner, market executive for Regions in Central Indiana. “We look forward to welcoming and serving many new customers as we expand our local presence into Boone County.”

The branch is notable not only for what it has – but also for what it doesn’t have. There is no waiting in a traditional teller line. Instead, people are greeted personally by a Regions banker upon arrival, and all branch personnel are ready to provide financial services that go beyond simply opening accounts or making routine transactions.
“Our team is focused on helping customers reach their own, unique financial goals,” said consumer banking manager Travis Toll. “By providing valuable advice, guidance and education, we can deliver a variety of solutions to help our customers thrive.”
In-branch service is currently being conducted by appointment only, similar to all Regions branches throughout the bank’s footprint, as a safety precaution amid the coronavirus pandemic. There are also extensive service options through the branch’s drive-up ATMs. Specifically, this branch becomes the latest in Central Indiana to offer Regions Video Banking ATMs.
Through these ATMs, customers can choose standard ATM service – or they can connect with a Regions Video Banker via live, two-way video for personal service during an expanded set of hours.
Regions Video Bankers can answer customers’ questions, provide account maintenance, process transactions, and more – all in real time.
The branch has one Video Banking ATM in the drive-through and one in the foyer. The foyer is accessible after-hours by scanning a debit or credit card with a magnetic stripe for entry.
Video Bankers are available on weekdays from 8 a.m. – 9 p.m. ET. They are also available on Saturdays from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. ET and Sundays from noon – 6 p.m. ET. Holidays hours are also from noon until 6 p.m. ET.
The branch also features DepositSmart ATM service. In addition to dispensing cash, DepositSmart ATMs can cash checks – or accept deposits of cash or checks – at any time, day or night.
“Regions’ Video Banking and DepositSmart services can offer added convenience and peace of mind during this time of social distancing,” said Toll. “Our technology allows customers to take care of their banking needs in the manner that works for them, and the extended hours for Video Banking mean greater flexibility. This location reflects our commitment to delivering top-tier service and exceeding expectations for our customers.”
