CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Feb. 13, 2024 – Regions Bank on Tuesday announced its latest Chattanooga-area investment – the company’s newly built Hixson branch.
A superior customer experience is the driving force behind the design of the location, its custom-tailored financial services, and the dedication of its entire staff. The branch on Tennessee Highway 153 at Northpoint Blvd. is, in fact, one of the most modern Regions facilities in all of Tennessee. The large, modern facility replaces the bank’s older Hixson Pike, Highland, and Northgate-Northpoint branch locations.

As soon as people come in the Hixson Branch, they are greeted by a Regions banker who listens to their needs and connects them with colleagues who can assist with everything from basic transactions to offering in-depth conversations to helping assess their financial health. This innovative approach to personal service is powered by an experience called the Regions Greenprint® plan that starts with talking to a banker. Through these Greenprint conversations, Regions bankers help individual and small-business customers create personalized plans with recommended next steps to achieve their financial goals.
The Hixson branch also features three Regions DepositSmart ATMs™. At one walk-up and two drive-through ATMs, customers can withdraw cash and also make deposits of cash or checks at any time, around the clock. In addition to receiving deposits of cash and checks, the machines can actually cash checks for Regions customers, too.

Stogsdill said additional Hixson branch technology advances include wi-fi for customers in the lobby, laptops for bankers that allow them to move with customers throughout the branch, and meeting room space and technology for additional customer privacy and consultation.
“When people come into a bank to make a deposit and they’re not confident about their financial standing, they won’t feel comfortable initiating a conversation about things like a low credit score or a lack of budgeting,” Stogsdill explained. “So, we have designed this bank branch for easier, personal and private conversations on everything from budgeting money to increasing a credit score to building a financial plan. It’s about helping customers build a personalized path to financial confidence.”
Growing and establishing new community connections is also at the top of the agenda for the Hixson branch, beginning with a grand opening set for March 12 at 9 a.m. ET. Regions leaders will join the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce for a ribbon cutting. The bank will also make a grant presentation to community partners. Fletcher said her local team is proud to welcome neighbors to the new facility.
