NASHVILLE, Tenn. – April 24, 2024 – Regions Bank and Eakin Partners on Wednesday announced the bank’s latest investment in Middle Tennessee as Regions expands its Music Row presence through the addition of more than 27,000 square-feet of ultra-modern office space atop the Roundabout Plaza building.
The bank has operated its successful Music Row branch and Sports and Entertainment Division on the ground floor of Roundabout Plaza for several years. With today’s announcement, longtime local Regions bankers delivering Commercial and Corporate Banking services, Wealth Management solutions, and more will join their Music Row colleagues through the renovation and occupation of the top floor of the building.
Lee Blank, market executive for Regions Bank in Middle Tennessee, said the company’s modernized office space atop Roundabout Plaza is part of Regions’ strategy to further build on its legacy as Nashville’s longest-serving bank.
Our modernized office space will bring bankers from several departments together in a way that helps us build on our collaboration and, most importantly, build on our comprehensive services for local clients. Lee Blank, market executive for Regions Bank in Middle Tennessee
“For over 140 years, our company has met the financial needs of people and businesses across Middle Tennessee, and as our city has grown, we’ve grown, too, offering customized services that set us apart in one of the nation’s most vibrant markets,” Blank said. “Yet, despite our growth, we haven’t lost sight of what makes Nashville truly special, and we remain focused on delivering the services of a truly local bank, powered by the resources of one of America’s largest financial institutions. Our modernized office space will bring bankers from several departments together in a way that helps us build on our collaboration and, most importantly, build on our comprehensive services for local clients.”
John Eakin, managing member of Eakin Partners – owners of Roundabout Plaza with their partnership of local investors – said the building’s location is one of many attributes the facility offers. Positioned adjacent to both West End and the downtown core, and within easy reach of Interstates 40 and 65, Roundabout Plaza and the surrounding neighborhood of restaurants and retailers are convenient to office personnel and clients alike.
“Eakin Partners and Regions Bank are both committed to building on our growth in Nashville, and expanding our relationship will help us advance those goals,” said Eakin. “This opportunity provides a chance to bring more Regions colleagues together in ways that enhance teamwork, while welcoming more clients and associates to the thriving and convenient Music Row area. We are excited and honored to have more Regions associates locate at the Roundabout.”
Regions expects to begin renovation of the ninth floor and its first floor branch at Roundabout Plaza in the second quarter of 2024 with plans to occupy the expanded ninth floor by early 2025.
Eakin added, construction is currently underway on the seventh floor of the building, an amenity space shared by all Roundabout tenants that features a three-story atrium.
“When renovations are complete in the next two months, the full suite of Roundabout Plaza amenities will include a newly renovated fitness facility, a new first floor cafe, and a shared conference room and common meeting areas on the seventh floor,” Eakin said.
Regions’ agreement with Eakin Partners includes crown signage rights, with the Regions logo in its signature LifeGreen color set to visibly reflect the bank’s pride in building on its investments in Nashville.
“For many years, the Regions name has been shining bright on our city’s skyline, and that is not changing,” Blank concluded. “From consulting with local businesses on how to grow their companies, to helping individual consumers through in-person and digital services, we are Nashville’s bank. And we’re excited to take this step forward in writing our next chapter of service to Middle Tennessee.”
