FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Sept. 3, 2025 – Regions Bank on Thursday celebrated the grand opening of its downtown Fort Lauderdale financial center, a modernized location designed to provide clients with easier access to financial assistance while reinforcing the bank’s long-term commitment to South Florida.
The ribbon cutting brought together local leaders, including Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean Trantalis, Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance Director Katelyn Tolzien, Regions leaders, and community partners. The event also featured a financial contribution and school supply donation benefiting Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County.
“Fort Lauderdale continues to be a market defined by growth, opportunity and innovation, and Regions is proud to invest alongside this community,” said Kelley Brown-Murro, Market Executive for Palm Beach and Broward for Regions Bank. “This new location reflects our commitment to helping people, families and businesses thrive while supporting organizations that are creating brighter futures across Broward County.”

New Downtown Fort Lauderdale Financial Center
At 150 SE 3rd Ave., Suite 104, the 2,560-square-foot facility represents the relocation of Regions’ longtime downtown Fort Lauderdale branch to a highly visible location in the city’s urban core. The new location combines Regions’ innovative branch design with modern banking technology and personalized financial guidance.
Features include:
- Personalized financial guidance through Regions Greenprint® plans
- Enhanced access for consumer and commercial banking clients
- Walk-Up DepositSmart ATM access, where people can not only get cash but also deposit cash and checks
- Advanced safe deposit box technology
- Modern meeting and collaboration spaces

Bringing Financial Services Together
Beyond traditional branch services, the Fort Lauderdale financial center serves as a collaborative hub for multiple Regions business lines, including:
- Commercial Banking
- Private Wealth Management
- SBA Lending
- Treasury Management
- Small-business equipment financing
- And additional specialized business banking teams
By bringing these professionals together under one roof, clients have convenient access to a broad range of financial services in a single location.
“Our new Fort Lauderdale location is much more than a branch,” Brown-Murro said. “By bringing together professionals from across Regions’ business lines in one collaborative space, we’re creating an environment that strengthens teamwork, enhances client service and provides convenient access to a wide range of services. We’re excited about the opportunities this facility creates for deeper relationships and continued growth.”

Designed Around Customers
The facility reflects how customers increasingly use branch locations: less for routine transactions and more for financial guidance, planning and relationship-based conversations.
One of the strongest examples is Regions Greenprint planning, where bankers have in-depth conversations with individuals and small-business owners to help them create a tailored roadmap toward achieving short- and long-term goals.
“This branch was designed around how our customers want to bank today,” said Tara Napoli, branch manager for Regions Bank’s downtown Fort Lauderdale branch. “Whether someone needs help with everyday banking, planning for the future or navigating a major financial decision, we’re able to combine innovative technology with personalized service to create a more convenient and connected experience.”
Investing in Broward County’s Future
As part of the grand opening, Regions presented a $6,000 contribution to Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County and delivered school supplies collected through a donation drive.
The support will help advance programs that prepare young people for educational and workforce opportunities.
“We’re grateful for Regions’ commitment to the young people we serve,” said Chris Gentile, president and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County. “Their contribution and support will help us provide workforce readiness programs, mentorship and opportunities that prepare youth for future success. This investment strengthens not only our organization, but the future of our community.”
Investing in Florida’s Future
The Fort Lauderdale financial center is part of Regions’ broader investment in branch modernization and customer experience across its footprint. Regions currently operates approximately 270 branches throughout Florida and has identified the state as a priority for future growth.
Over the next five years, Regions plans to build 135 to 150 branches across its footprint, with Florida among the key states targeted for continued investment and expansion. At the same time, the company will be renovating more than 1,000 existing branches across the Regions footprint, bringing more new designs, intuitive technology and personalized financial consultation spaces to communities throughout Florida and beyond.
