Regions Tradition 2026: An Extraordinary Event Supporting Extraordinary Organizations

The Regions Tradition – April 29-May 3

By Mel Campbell | April 28, 2026

If you’re sitting in one of the galleries at the Regions Tradition, you can expect that inside any group of players – whether you’re watching celebrities and sports legends at the pro-am or Hall of Famers and major champions during the tournament – that there are extraordinary athletes on the lush grass and pristine greens of Greystone Golf and Country Club.

And with every swing and putt, there is something else extraordinary: the continuation of more than 30 years of supporting nonprofits across Alabama and more.

Happening two weeks earlier in 2026 (April 28-May 3) in Hoover, Alabama, the Regions Tradition has been a cornerstone to Regions’ giving back and provides a family-friendly event that showcases great golf in one of the major championships on the PGA TOUR Champions.

This year is no exception. Back is 2025 champion, Angel Cabrera, as well as other past champions, such as Bernhard Langer, Steve Stricker and more.

Also, back again – the difference the tournament makes in the community:

  • Supports local nonprofits and the tournament’s primary beneficiary – Children’s of Alabama. Since the tournament started 33 years ago, it’s raised $25 million for Children’s and other charities.
  • Bolstering local small businesses – from local food and hospitality, to on-site vendors and service providers – with a yearly economic impact of more than $25 million.
  • Offering a one-of-a-kind community event with something for everyone – from great food, to music, to sun and fun … and, of course, great professional golf.

Stay connected to Doing More Today  and Regions Social Media (Instagram, Facebook and Linkedin) channels to see more coverage and sights from the 2026 tournament.
