Regions Recognized for Excellence in Mortgage Servicing

Fannie Mae again recognizes Regions Mortgage as one of the STAR™ Performers in affordable home finance.

By Amy Andrews | April 15, 2025

Regions has been recognized as a Fannie Mae Servicer Total Achievement and Rewards™ (STAR™) performer for General Servicing and Solution Delivery, the eighth consecutive year the company was recognized for General Servicing.

This recognition highlights the excellence of the Regions Mortgage Servicing team who consistently go above and beyond to assist homeowners and preserve homeownership in alignment with Fannie Mae’s objectives.

Headshot of Holt Coltharp, Head of Mortgage Servicing at Regions.

“This recognition is a direct result of the talented and hardworking associates who are committed to serving our customers with excellence.”

“We take pride in being a part of a customer’s homeownership journey, helping them to manage one, if not the biggest, purchase of their life.”

Regions Mortgage Servicing has been a participant of the program since its inception in 2011, and during that time has been recognized as a STAR performer for a total of 11 of 13 years.

The STAR Program is Fannie Mae’s servicer performance management program.

“Achieving this level of recognition year-after-year is not only a reflection of our commitment to our customers but also an important measure of our reputation and standing with investors which is critical to be able to continue to perform Mortgage Servicing Rights acquisitions,” Coltharp said.

Being a STAR performer requires Regions to consistently “raise the bar” and meet the high standards set by Fannie Mae in one or more of three categories, including General Servicing, Solution Delivery, and Timeline Management. Regions exceeded the one category threshold and met the high standards for General Servicing and Solution Delivery.  The STAR designation is determined annually based on an analysis of compliance review results and performance trends at the end of each program year.
