Regions Makes Help Available for Customers During Government Shutdown

Regions Bank is here to help impacted customers with a range of potential assistance options.

A partial federal government shutdown that began on Dec. 22, 2018, has led to the temporary closure of some government agencies. As a result, furloughed government employees may face financial setbacks. Through the Regions Customer Assistance Program, Regions’ experienced financial professionals are available to speak with customers about their personal financial situations and, when possible, offer solutions that may ease financial hardships experienced because of the partial shutdown.

Regions Bank is here to help impacted customers with a range of potential assistance options, from helping with overdraft fees to a one-time, penalty-free withdrawal from a CD with Regions. Additionally, Regions mortgage, loan and credit card customers may qualify for forbearance or other payment assistance based on individual needs. The government shutdown does not affect FDIC coverage of Regions Bank deposits.

General information about how Regions can help borrowers with a variety of needs can be found at regions.com/loanhelp.
