Her journey from an early childhood in communist Cuba to a successful banking career in the United States includes several surprising turns for Rosie Garcia. With each turn, Garcia learned something new and never lost sight of her ultimate destination – being in a place where she can help others reach their full potential in life and their careers.
Garcia led her team to be Regions’ top performing branch bankwide last year. She did that by starting each day with a rousing huddle, maintaining a high energy level throughout the day and constantly sharing her expertise on meeting customer needs for financial success.
Garcia coaches associates out of their comfort zone and inspires them to participate, contribute and remain engaged in meeting company goals. She’s known for teaching not just by words, but also by example.
She brings that same passion to her work in the community. She has been a long-time supporter of the American Heart Association and served as team captain for the 2014 Miami Heart Walk. Regions is donating $1,000 to the organization in her honor.
