It’s Official: Regions Is a Great Place to Work

Regions’ culture and associate experience leads to a prestigious recognition.

By Lara Warren | January 24, 2022

Regions’ culture is a foundational strength of our company and how we deliver value to our customers, shareholders, associates and communities. It’s also what makes Regions a great place to work.

We’re pleased to announce that we have earned the Great Place to Work-Certified™ Company designation. The prestigious award is based on what current associates say about their experience working here. This year, 87% of associates surveyed said Regions is a great place to work – 28 points higher than the average U.S. company.

“We are proud to be certified by Great Place to Work again in 2022,” said Seanna McGough, head of Learning & Development. “The associate experience is an important part of our building an inclusive culture where we can all succeed. This certification is a recognition of our work making life better — not just for our customers, communities and shareholders, but for our associates as well.”

Great Place to Work is an organization that analyzes workplace culture, employee experience and leadership behaviors. It conducted a workplace trust index survey given to a random sample of associates from across the bank. Those survey results, combined with information about Regions’ company and culture, helped determine certification.

Additional metrics from Great Place to Work’s certification analysis show:

  • 92% of associates agreed that when you join Regions, you are made to feel welcome
  • 91% agreed that Regions management is honest and ethical in its business practices
  • 90% agreed with the statement “I am able to take time off from work when I think it’s necessary”
  • 89% said that “I’m proud to tell others I work here”
  • 89% agreed with the statement “When I look at what we accomplish, I feel a sense of pride.”

Certification

A random sample of associates from across the bank was selected to participate in a workplace trust index survey facilitated by Great Place to Work. Survey results, combined with information about our company and culture, helped Great Place to Work determine certification.

“Great Place to Work Certification isn’t something that comes easily – it takes ongoing dedication to the employee experience,” said Sarah Lewis-Kulin, vice president of global recognition at Great Place to Work. “It’s the only official recognition determined by employees’ real-time reports of their company culture. Earning this designation means that Regions is one of the best companies to work for in the country.”
