Investment and Commitment: Regions Bank Announces Construction of New Springhill, La. Branch

Regions Bank announces major redevelopment project for Springhill, La. branches.

By Nestor Mato | July 16, 2024

SPRINGHILL, La. – July 17, 2024 – Regions Bank on Wednesday announced a significant redevelopment for its branch services in Springhill, Louisiana. The plan will involve the demolition of the bank’s drive-through location at the corner of 1st St. NE and Church Street, followed by the construction of a brand-new, full-service branch in its place at the same location. A modular banking facility is currently in place to serve customers during the transition.

This new and modern branch will include updates that will make banking more convenient and more personalized as our Springhill team works to help consumers and businesses reach their financial goals. Denny Moton, market executive for Regions Bank in Northwest Louisiana

“Our ground-up rebuild signifies a meaningful investment in offering greater convenience, local experience and more modern technology,” said Denny Moton, market executive for Regions Bank in Northwest Louisiana. “It’s all part of Regions’ commitment to providing Springhill customers the very best banking experience. This new and modern branch will include updates that will make banking more convenient and more personalized as our Springhill team works to help consumers and businesses reach their financial goals.”

The old 124 North Main St. branch, just a couple blocks away, will close as part of this transition, with in-branch services focused on the modernized facility on 1st St. NE. Demolition is currently underway at the drive-through-only facility with construction of the new branch scheduled to begin soon. The new branch will place a clear emphasis on personalized service from local bankers. Further, it will offer a two-lane drive-thru with depository and ATM options, a walk-up ATM vestibule and new conveniences such as single-service safe deposit boxes with biometric access to provide easier, more secure access for safe deposit box customers.

“We are excited about the new branch, and we are happy to ensure uninterrupted service for our customers during the construction period,” said Lisa Phillips, consumer banking executive for Regions. “This is another example of Regions Bank being a constant presence in Springhill. We have and will continue to navigate and evolve through the financial landscape alongside our valued customers.”

We’re not just upgrading the physical space; we’re elevating the way we connect with our customers. Lisa Phillips, consumer banking executive for Regions

At the new branch – as well as in the modular facility – Regions Greenprint® will be at the centerpiece of service. Through in-depth conversations, Regions bankers listen to the needs, goals and questions of customers. Regions then helps those customers create a tailored roadmap toward reaching their goals through recommended next steps. This approach to service is based on how today’s customers increasingly view the branch space; simple transactions can often be handled through the Regions Mobile App, Online Banking or ATMs. The branch, though, is where people are turning for one-on-one, face-to-face guidance.

“We’re not just upgrading the physical space; we’re elevating the way we connect with our customers,” said Phillips. “Construction is set to be completed between late this year and early next year. We look forward to our customers seeing and benefiting from our rejuvenated commitment to a personalized banking experience in Springhill.”
