Miami-Dade Market executive and Regions Bank receive Special Philanthropy Award.

By Nestor Mato | November 3, 2023

Congratulations to Chris Cruzpino for receiving the Spirit of Philanthropy Award for her amazing work with Kristi House Children’s Advocacy Center in Miami.

Who:

Chris Cruzpino,

Market Executive, Miami-Dade, Florida

What:

The Association of Fundraising Professionals hosted its 36th Annual National Philanthropy Day Lunch and Awards Program. Kristi House, a sponsor, selected Chris Cruzpino and Regions Bank to honor for the Spirit of Philanthropy Award.

Why:

Chris Cruzpino, South Florida Regional Executive for Regions Private Wealth Management and the Market Executive for the Miami-Dade market, not only serves on the Kristi House Board of Directors but also volunteers her time to share essential financial education insights with people supported by the center. Kristi House works hand-in-hand with survivors of physical abuse, child sexual abuse, sex trafficking, substance abuse, and other traumas.

“Her dedication to educating our survivors about financial matters, such as managing checking accounts, comprehending credit, and the importance of savings, has been instrumental in helping them regain their independence,” said Kristi House CEO Amanda Altman about why Cruzpino was honored. “Chris, her team, and Regions have been amazing community partners over the last few years, and we are so grateful.”

In Her Own Words:

“Because financial wellness supports financial freedom, it gives survivors another way to move forward, to recover, and to write a new chapter,” said Cruzpino. “I am honored to have been selected for the Spirit of Philanthropy Award. More than that, I am honored to serve a role in helping such a special organization that does such pivotal work in our community.”
