‘A New Era.’ Regions Bank Unveils its Latest Orlando Branch Investment

Downtown branch gets a modern facelift enhanced with a new, innovative experience designed to deliver more convenient and personalized banking.

By Nestor Mato | November 28, 2023

ORLANDO, Fla. – Nov. 28, 2023 – Regions Bank on Tuesday announced its latest investment in Central Florida by formally unveiling its reimagined branch in downtown Orlando. This renovation combines state-of-the-art technology with personalized engagement to offer an unparalleled level of convenience and service.

Located in the heart of Orlando, the branch at 111 North Orange Ave. has a proud tradition of serving downtown businesses and residents. Now, the enhanced branch promises to redefine how customers experience banking, offering a seamless blend of tradition and innovation. This new approach combines the latest technology with the experience of engaging with local bankers to deliver a more convenient and personalized way for customers to access services.

“Regions Bank has been a steadfast presence in downtown Orlando, navigating and innovating through the ever-changing financial landscape alongside our valued customers,” said Chris Hurst, market executive for Regions Bank in Orlando. “Our investment in this remodel reflects our unwavering commitment to enhancing the customer experience, adapting to the evolving needs of our community, and ushering in a new era of banking excellence.”

The changes are apparent the moment a customer arrives. Gone is the traditional teller line where people had to wait to be called up for service. No more will customers have to fill out deposit slips or be referred from one banker to another for certain services.

Instead, the new design of the branch is built around personalized service starting with a greeting from an experienced local banker as soon as the customer comes in. That banker, and all others in the branch, are focused on helping not only with simple transactions, but also with providing more in-depth services to help customers increase their financial health.

This advanced approach to personal service is known as Regions Greenprint®. Through one-on-one Greenprint conversations, Regions’ bankers listen to the needs, goals and questions of customers. Regions then helps those customers create a tailored roadmap toward reaching their goals through recommended next steps. This approach to service is based on how today’s customers increasingly view the branch space; simple transactions can often be handled through the Regions Mobile App, Online Banking or ATMs. The branch, though, is where people are turning for one-on-one, face-to-face guidance.

New technological upgrades include an instant-issue debit card printer, customer Wi-Fi in the branch, and single service safe deposit boxes with biometric access to provide easier, more secure access.

“We are thrilled to welcome our customers to our renovated branch. The space looks beautiful, but more than that, we’re excited to introduce more people to the Regions Greenprint service offering, which truly sets us apart,” said Earl Connell, Regions’ Consumer Banking executive based in Orlando. “It’s all about going beyond simply meeting immediate banking needs, and instead fostering a deeper, more meaningful conversation about our customers’ financial well-being.”

Similar Regions locations have already opened throughout Central Florida. Sunrise Plaza in Celebration; Lake Nona; Waterford Lakes near the University of Central Florida; Windermere; and Hamlin Town Center in the Lake Hancock area.
