Regions recently welcomed the 2023 Emerging Talent Program analyst class for a busy and educational orientation week at the Regions Bank headquarters in Birmingham, Ala.
The analyst program is an early career program created to train and develop recent college graduates as they begin a career with Regions. The program provides opportunities in a variety of career paths, including Corporate Banking Group, Human Resources, Wealth Management, Finance and Audit.
During their orientation, participants heard from Regions’ executive leaders, participated in a CliftonStrengths workshop, worked through a bank simulation exercise and more. After spending some quality time in the office, the team of 62 analysts participated in a community service team building activity. The group spent a day together beautifying the green space at Hayes K-8 School in Birmingham in partnership with the United Way Hands On and Jones Valley Teaching Farm.

As a new associate who has previously worked with not-for-profits, it is exciting to see Regions advocate for associate community engagement, connecting the work we do at Regions to the work of our community partners.

It was such a rewarding experience to spend a day with our Emerging Talent Program analysts, and to see them continuing their philanthropic passions from the classroom to the corporate world. Regions does a fantastic job of promoting and supporting a variety of non-profit organizations nationwide. The volunteer calendar has made it so easy to not only see local opportunities for me to participate in, but also to share what is happening within my local community.

When we think about Regions Culture, a big piece of that is giving back to our communities we serve. What better way for our new analysts to join the bank and be part of Regions’ Mission and Values than be able to participate in community service as a group!
