Michigan State vaulted into the top 5, thanks to a come-from-behind victory against rival Michigan, while Wake Forest boldly went where the Demon Deacons had never gone before.
Down 16 points midway through the third quarter, Michigan State chased down the Wolverines in a 37-33 victory that kept their record perfect. That was good enough for a jump of three spots in the latest AP Top 25 presented by Regions Bank.
Meanwhile, Wake Forest blasted Duke 45-7 to remain unbeaten and climb into the top 10 for the first time in school history.
There’s no change at the top after Georgia dominated Florida 34-7.
