Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month

Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs Sept. 15 through Oct. 15. During this time, celebrate the culture and traditions of those who trace their roots back to Spain, Mexico, and Spanish-speaking nations of Central America, South America and the Caribbean.

Wondering why this observance month begins on Sept. 15? Sept. 15 marks the independence days for Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. Mexico celebrates its independence day Sept. 16, and Chile on Sept. 18.
