Regions’ Leroy Abrahams Named One of the 2022 Most Influential Black Executives

Savoy magazine announced their annual list of powerful national and global leaders.

By Candace Higginbotham | August 1, 2022

Savoy magazine just published their Summer 2022 issue, which includes its Power 300: 2022 Most Influential Black Executives in Corporate America.

And Regions Head of Community Affairs Leroy Abrahams made the prestigious list.

According to Savoy’s website, this listing showcases an elite representation of African-American men and women who have been recognized for their executive and business leadership in national and global corporations.

The article cites Abrahams’ efforts to enhance Regions’ community engagement strategy to focus on inclusive prosperity and his role in establishing and leading the Regions Community Development Corporation to expand the bank’s lending and investment to more communities in our footprint. It also mentions his leadership as President of the Regions Foundation, which has furthered the bank’s philanthropic efforts.

“Leroy is a true example of someone who is living Regions’ mission and values every day,” said President and CEO John Turner. “The work he has done to support, engage and lift up our communities has made a real difference in cities, towns and neighborhoods we serve. I’m so pleased he received this much-deserved recognition for his efforts.”
