Regions Contributes $23 Million to Associate 401(k) Plan Accounts

Regions is helping associates achieve their retirement goals.

By Jonna H. Wallace | March 23, 2022

Regions strives to make life better for its associates by offering benefits that touch on every area of life, from finding a work-life balance to planning for retirement.

This is why, again this year, Regions is making a 2% company contribution to the 401(k) Plan accounts of associates who meet eligibility requirements. Approximately 13,000 associates will receive a total of $23 million in contributions based on their 2021 service.

“The financial health of our associates is part of our overall commitment to well-being,” said Mike Branca, head of Regions Total Rewards. “We believe investing in our associates in this way contributes to making Regions a great place to work, increases engagement, reduces turnover and, ultimately, makes life better for our associates and their families.”

Regions wants to help our associates retire with more security and matches 401(k) contributions of up to 5% after one year of service. Regions will provide a dollar-for-dollar match for every dollar you defer from your paycheck, up to 5% of your eligible compensation. In 2021, Regions contributed over $87 million to its associates’ 401(k) accounts.

This employer match is just another one of the great benefits enjoyed by Regions associates.
