You could almost see Chun Schiros, head of Regions Data Science, blush as she mentioned the honor to her colleagues at work.
But after a recent trip back from the 2022 Business of Data Awards, there was no escaping the fact that Corinium, a global leader in bringing together innovation and innovators in the worlds of data, AI and information security, had just tapped her as the 2022 North American Data Leader of the Year.
“It was an absolutely stunning moment,” Chun said.
According to Corinium, the Business of Data Awards are “for the data and analytics community, judged by the data and analytics community.”
The judges, from Corinium’s Global Advisory Board, selected the shortlisted finalists, and the Data Leader of the Year was ultimately chosen by peers and participants from that short list, which included representatives from industry leaders such as Toyota/Lexus, IBM, Verizon, Visa, Mastercard, JPMorgan and more.
“I am so thrilled to receive the Corinium Data Leader of the Year Award. What a tremendous honor!” Schiros added. “It really is an award that highlights what our Regions Data and Analytics team has accomplished, and I’m proud to represent Regions in this honor.”
