NEW IBERIA, La. – Regions Bank on Tuesday, May 23 will cut the ribbon and celebrate the grand opening of a modern location designed to serve the people and businesses of New Iberia and surrounding communities.

And this is now one of the first Regions locations in Louisiana to offer Regions Video Banking, which expands personal service to evenings, weekends and holidays. The result is a branch-banking experience that’s better-suited to meet the needs of today’s clients.”
The branch at 734 S. Lewis Street is adjacent to the site of a previous Regions facility. The new location allows Regions to blend personal service with a more modern layout and new technology that expands access to banking.
For example, in addition to the branch’s on-site professionals, clients can choose Regions Video Banking services. Regions Video Banking connects clients with a Regions representative via live, two-way video during extended hours. Along with processing most teller transactions, Regions Video Bankers can help customers with account maintenance, general inquiries and more.
Video Bankers are available from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. CT on weekdays. They are also available from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturdays, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sundays and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on most holidays.

The branch also offers a Regions DepositSmart ATM. In addition to dispensing cash, a DepositSmart ATM can accept deposits and cash checks for clients at any time, day or night.
The DepositSmart ATM is located in one of the branch’s five drive-through lanes. The Video banking ATM is in a 24-hour vestibule at the front of the branch. After branch hours, the vestibule is accessible through the swipe of any ATM or debit card, including those from other banks. Outside of Video Bankers’ hours, the Video Banking ATM functions as a standard ATM.
The interior of the branch offers guest WiFi, private meeting spaces for in-depth financial conversations and a safe deposit box system.
The May 23 grand opening begins at 10 a.m. and will continue until 11:30. The public is invited. Prizes will be awarded, and attendees can register to win one of Regions’ signature LifeGreen bicycles.
