Regions Bank Announces Panama City and Destin Market Executives

Robin Striblin and Leslie Stricklin to guide business and community engagement activities.

By Jennifer Elmore | July 14, 2020

PANAMA CITY and DESTIN, Fla. – July 14 or 15, 2020 – Regions Bank on Tuesday announced two longtime associates will serve as Market Executives for the bank in Panama City and Destin.

Robin Striblin, Mortgage Production Manager for Regions, will serve as Market Executive in Panama City and surrounding communities in Bay County. Additionally, Leslie Stricklin, Private Wealth Advisor for Regions, will serve as Market Executive for Destin and Walton County.

As Market Executives, Striblin and Stricklin will leverage their local experience and market insights to expand Regions’ client base along the Emerald Coast while taking a strategic, proactive role in advancing community engagement. Community engagement at Regions focuses on creating more inclusive prosperity, particularly in the areas of financial wellness; economic and community development; and education and workforce development.

Striblin will also continue in her role as Mortgage Production Manager leading a team of professionals who serve clients through a variety of financial solutions to reach their homeownership goals. Additionally, Stricklin will continue serving as Private Wealth Advisor delivering customized financial-management solutions for people throughout the area.

Robin and Leslie have been key to our success; they understand the needs of local clients and the opportunities we have to build on our community engagement in the Panhandle.
John Turner, Regions President and CEO

“Regions Bank has a proud history of serving the people and businesses of Northwest Florida. Robin and Leslie have been key to our success; they understand the needs of local clients and the opportunities we have to build on our community engagement in the Panhandle,” said John Turner, Regions President and CEO. “Regions’ clients, our community partners and our associates will benefit from their leadership.”

Striblin and Stricklin will work with their colleagues in Regions’ Commercial Banking, Consumer Banking and Private Wealth Management business groups to focus on reaching the objectives of Regions360.

Through Regions360, the company’s bankers learn the unique goals of each customer and collaborate with colleagues from Regions’ various banking departments to develop holistic solutions that are customized for individual clients.

Striblin began her banking career in 1985 with First Federal Savings and Loan of Panama City, a predecessor to Regions Bank, as a Mortgage Loan Officer. A native of Sarasota, Striblin has spent her 35-year career serving clients in Bay County. She has seen the local economy and housing market evolve tremendously during her time with Regions and lends her expertise to clients with a wide range of financing needs. In addition, she and Regions colleagues have worked closely with clients rebuilding from the devastation caused by Hurricane Michael in 2018.

“My heart is in Bay County, and I look forward to building on the ways we meet customer and community needs,” Striblin said. “At Regions, we are focused on so much more than financial transactions. We take the time to build relationships and identify ways we can use our experience to make life better for customers and communities. Another example of this collaboration is the support we’ve raised among our teams for people impacted by COVID-19. We’re invested in the success of our community, and we’ll keep identifying ways to serve.”

Stricklin joined Regions in 2006 and currently serves as Wealth Advisor for the Destin, Walton County, and Bay County areas. Prior to joining Regions, she worked at Morgan Stanley in Tallahassee. Stricklin maintains a Certified Wealth Strategist® certification and Life and Fixed Annuity licenses. Active in her community, she volunteers with the Okaloosa County School System’s weekly reading program, the Walton County Chamber of Commerce, the Estate Planning Council of the Emerald Coast and the Junior League of the Emerald Coast.

“Regions Bank is uniquely positioned to offer the comprehensive services of a larger bank while also providing local bankers who are constantly in touch with the needs of individual customers and communities,” Stricklin said. “Based on the experience of our teams, and the resources of our company as a whole, we are able to deliver services that are tailored to meet the needs of the clients we serve. I am honored to lead the collaboration of our teams across Destin, as well as Walton County, and I am committed to building on Regions’ strong foundation of community engagement.”

Robin Striblin succeeds previous Panama City Market Executive Steve Aase, who has been elevated to a Commercial Banking leadership role with Regions covering portions of the Florida Panhandle as well as the Wiregrass region of Alabama. Leslie Stricklin succeeds previous Destin Market Executive James Ferreira, who is serving as a Commercial Relationship Manager for Regions in Pensacola.
