MOBILE, Ala. – Jan. 11, 2024 – Regions Bank on Thursday announced the appointment of two key leaders who will guide the company’s services for consumers and businesses throughout Mobile and along the Gulf Coast:
- Experienced banking professional Bruner Binion will serve as Regions’ new market executive for Mobile and surrounding communities.
- Additionally, Tina Gilmore has been elevated to serve as Consumer Banking Executive for the bank’s Greater Gulf Coast region.
John Turner, President and CEO of Regions Financial Corp., said Binion and Gilmore serving in these leadership positions further reflects the bank’s commitment to the Gulf Coast through exceptional service and impactful community engagement.

As market executive, Binion, a 15-year Regions veteran, will manage the bank’s comprehensive Regions360 approach to identifying and meeting customers’ banking needs while continuing his role as Commercial Banking leader. Through Regions360, Binion partners with colleagues in Commercial Banking, Consumer Banking, Mortgage Banking, Wealth Management, and other functions to identify ways the bank can meet the holistic financial needs of clients. He will also oversee Regions’ strategy for community engagement in the Mobile Bay area, advancing the bank’s focus on Economic and Community Development, Education and Workforce Readiness, and Financial Wellness initiatives.

A graduate of UMS Wright in Mobile and the University of Mississippi, Bruner is a Regions Chairman’s Club recipient, bestowed on the top 10% of commercial bankers across Regions’ multi-state footprint. He is also a graduate of Regions’ Client Advisor Program, in partnership with Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Business, as well as a graduate of Regions’ Emerging Leaders Program. Binion is currently active in leadership at the Mobile Chamber of Commerce and United Way of Southwest Alabama.

Tina Gilmore brings 32 years of experience to her role as Consumer Banking Executive for the Greater Gulf Coast region. She began her career in St. Petersburg, Florida, as a bank teller and has risen through increasing levels of Consumer Banking responsibility. Most recently, Gilmore served as market executive for Regions in St. Petersburg and Clearwater.

Gilmore succeeds John Anderson, who was recently appointed to serve as Regions’ head of Small Business Product and Strategy. Binion succeeds Christian White, who Regions recently named as its market executive in Birmingham.
