In the Limelight: Jennifer Boone

Legal leader recognized as Commercial Real Estate Woman of Influence by GlobeSt.

By Dana Obrist | June 18, 2025

Congratulations to Jennifer Boone for being named as a GlobeSt 2025 Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Woman of Influence.

Who:

Jennifer Boone

Managing Director & Capital Markets Assistant General Counsel

What:

The GlobeSt 2025 Women of Influence awards recognize standout female leaders in the commercial real estate (CRE) industry for their remarkable achievements. The awards shine a light on the women who have personally impacted the market and significantly driven the industry to new heights via their outstanding successes. Award winners encompass disciplines and areas of expertise spanning the entire CRE spectrum. With this honor, Jennifer Boone, a legal industry thought leader, has been recognized as one of the industry’s top professionals.

Why:

As a recognized legal expert, Jennifer Boone is backed by more than two decades of industry-specific legal experience in the areas of commercial real estate finance, agency lending programs, loan applications and documentation, securitizations, confidentiality agreements, engagement letters and commitments, risk management, and more. Jennifer is a consummate professional with an exceptional work ethic. She is known among her team and the broader leadership within Regions Bank for her consistent delivery of timely and insightful counsel to internal colleagues, assisting them in achieving their goals and enabling them to provide optimal service to customers.

In her role, Jennifer serves as head legal counsel to Regions Real Estate Capital Markets. The oversight provided by Jennifer and the team she manages includes legal guidance for all Regions Real Estate Capital Markets lending and servicing activity surrounding numerous Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and HUD agency lending programs. This guidance spans the loan life cycle from loan originations to loan closings and beyond, through securitization, servicing and asset management activities.

The leadership within Regions Real Estate Capital Markets notably credits Jennifer for the insights and legal guidance she provided during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as during additional, challenging macro-level economic dynamics that have followed in the years since.

In Her Own Words:

“It is an honor to be recognized as one of GlobeSt’s Women of Influence. What I’ve learned in my two decades in this business is that balancing business opportunities with sound legal advice can be challenging; however, working with excellent teams and being an active partner in reaching resolutions makes the journey rewarding.”
