Help Through the Unexpected

Regions Bank is on the watch for severe weather throughout its footprint.

By Nicole Wyatt | March 17, 2021

As the Southeast braces for severe weather, Regions is here for its customers, associates and communities.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center (SPC) says a significant tornado outbreak is expected on March 17, impacting areas in Mississippi, Alabama, southeast Arkansas and Louisiana. And the SPC says the day 2 outlook for March 18 shows potential for a regional outbreak of severe storms and tornadoes from parts of east-central Georgia northeastward across South Carolina and North Carolina.

Customers in impacted areas are encouraged to stay safe and take precautions until the threat passes. If you need to bank with Regions, you can leverage digital banking to accomplish a wide variety of needs:

  • Regions works to put the power of the bank in the palm of your hand with an overhauled app that includes greater functionality.
  • Regions.com is just a click away for anyone wanting to conduct desktop banking.
  • Regions’ contact center is open.

Be weather aware today and every day. Monitor your local weather via an app or weather radio. Keep your devices fully charged and be ready to go to your safe place if needed. Stay safe out there!
