Regions’ Greenprint® personalized plans gave more than 350,000 customers greater clarity and financial confidence in 2025 — and some memorable experiences too.

By Wayne Thompson | December 30, 2025

Paulette Williams now has two reasons to be glad she stopped by Regions’ branch on Sam Ridley Parkway – the investment advice helping her better plan for retirement and a $5,000 sweepstakes prize related to the same visit.

“As I was getting ready to leave the branch, a banker asked me if I wanted to enter the Regions Greenprint® Sweepstakes that Regions was offering in select markets and I said, ‘Sure,’ never thinking I’d win,” said Williams, a  customer of Regions for more than 20 years.

She credits her longstanding relationship to Regions’ service and convenient branch locations near where she lives and works.

“I have always believed it’s better to give than to receive,” Williams added. “But it felt good to receive the prize too. I paid my city and county taxes and had plenty left over to get some Christmas shopping done.”

Regions launched the sweepstakes earlier this year in Atlanta, Houston, Huntsville, and Nashville as another way to try to increase awareness of the no-cost Regions Greenprint plans the bank offers to help people become more financially confident and move toward achieving their financial goals. The available sweepstakes prizes included one $5,000 grand prize and five $1,000 first prizes for each of the four markets.

“We believe everyone deserves a personalized plan for financial success from a banker who cares and definitely saw more people learn about Regions Greenprint in 2025,” said Brittany Spriggs, Greenprint program manager.

“Our bankers used Greenprint plans to help more than 350,000 people throughout the year, including many who were not customers,” she said. “We also customized the Greenprint experience for students, and added new financial education for students as well.”

In addition to products and services, Spriggs said more than 22,0000 users also accessed articles, calculators and other Regions Next Step® financial education resources from their Greenprint Personalized Plan pages.

Virginia Kelley and Kathy Wells accepted their $5,000 and $1,000 sweepstakes prize checks respectively at the same Atlanta-area branch. Mia Hubbard, consumer banking executive for Regions in Georgia and the Carolinas, and Atlanta-area Consumer Banking Manger Clayton Lewallen, did the honors.

Friends told Kelley and Wells about the sweepstakes which they entered through the mail-in method of entry. Kelley used her $5,000 grand prize to see the Grand Canyon for the first time with her daughter while Wells used her $1,000 to book two excursions for an upcoming 50th wedding anniversary cruise to Hawaii.

“What a great experience it was to win such a prize and use it to mark the Grand Canyon off my bucket list which is a place I’ve always wanted to see,” Kelley said.

She enjoyed learning about Regions’ Greenprint plan experience through the sweepstakes and has already shared some financial education materials from Regions to help her grandson save for a car.

“I think Regions bank offering Greenprint plans for younger people in particular is a great idea especially since our schools no longer teach students how to plan, budget or manage their money,” she said.

Like Kelley, Wells enjoyed meeting Regions associates and learning more about Regions Greenprint through the sweepstakes. She’s a big believer in financial education and planning.

“If I had one financial tip to share it would be to get a financial advisor and guidance and advice at a young age,” she said. “My husband and I are not wealthy but believe we’ve been able to enjoy a comfortable retirement because we’ve planned for it with our advisor over many years.”
