Congratulations Banking School Grads!

Five associates honored among the 2025 Consumer Bankers Association Executive Banking School class of 2025.

By Evelyn Mitchell | August 28, 2025

Congratulations to Regions’ Consumer Bankers Association (CBA) Executive Banking School class of 2025 graduates!

  • Julia Gardner- Financial Manager, Business Support
  • Jim Kersey- Consumer Banking Manager, Middle Tennessee
  • Sara Khan- Consumer Banking Manager, Texas
  • Miles Victor- Consumer Banking Manager, South Louisiana
  • Ken Knapp- Consumer Banking Manager, Midwest

In the CBA’s Executive Banking School at Furman University, students from the top 25 banks in the U.S. and abroad explore finance, risk and strategic leadership in an immersive, team-based learning experience. Over three years of study, students learn to run the entire consumer business of a bank — gaining the skills to lead effectively in a rapidly changing industry. This year’s program was the largest on record, featuring nearly 400 bankers from 36 various institutions.

Regions has participated in the program for many years, with numerous program graduates growing their careers at the bank and also serving as banking school instructors to inform the next generation of bank leaders.

Investing in Associates

CBA Banking School participation is one example of Regions’ commitment to associate career development. At Regions, our associates are the foundation of everything we do. We focus on recruiting, developing and retaining top talent and investing in a culture where associates thrive, perform their best, and drive business results.

In 2024, Regions was honored to be among five elite organizations world-wide to receive the Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award with Distinction. The award cited the bank’s relentless focus on enhancing associate wellbeing and empowering all Regions professionals to thrive at work, feel pride in what they do, and take ownership of their performance.
