ORLANDO, Fla. – Feb. 7, 2022 – Regions Bank on Monday announced its latest Central Florida investment with the opening of a highly modern location in Orlando. Company leaders joined the Lake Nona Chamber of Commerce for the ribbon cutting at the bank’s Narcoossee branch.
The facility sits at the corner of Laureate Boulevard and Narcoossee Road across from Publix. It’s the newest example of Regions’ commitment to providing modern, convenient locations in Central Florida – built around personal service and enhanced by modern, user-friendly technology to make banking easier.
“In a high-growth area like Orlando, a community driven by the technology, tourism, and healthcare industries, people and businesses need a bank that values their time by providing personal service when they want it and technology that expands their access to banking on their own schedules. That is what this location, our local team, and our digital solutions provide,” said Chris Hurst, Orlando market executive for Regions Bank. “In the last year, Regions Bank has made significant investments in Florida, all designed to help customers bank how, where, and when they want. This new branch is a catalyst for customizing the banking experience even further.”
Regions marked the opening of the branch with an appreciation event for local healthcare heroes. The bank delivered 200 catered lunches to medical staff at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orlando.
“These healthcare heroes have supported our community nonstop, yet they often go unsung. As their new neighbors, we want them to know we see them and appreciate what they do,” said Dakiti Mobley, consumer banking manager for Regions. “We want all our neighbors to know the Narcoossee doors are open, ready to welcome customers to the Regions way of banking.”
As customers enter the new branch, there is no waiting in a traditional teller line. Rather, people are instantly greeted by an experienced local banker who, along with the rest of the Narcoossee team, can meet a full range of branch-banking needs, from opening a new account to having comprehensive conversations about a financial vision for the future.
The Narcoossee branch is also the latest Central Florida location to offer Regions’ Video Banking ATM service for walk-up or drive-through customers. At these machines, customers may choose standard ATM service – or they can connect with a Regions Video Banker via live, two-way video for personal service during expanded hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The location also includes a drive-up DepositSmart ATM, which can accept deposits of cash or checks any time, day or night.
“We’ve enjoyed introducing customers to the features at our branch that help make banking easier for them. They appreciate the focus we place on meeting their individualized financial needs,” said Omar Mercado, Regions’ Narcoossee branch manager. “We look forward to deepening the relationships we’re forming and continuously providing the customized banking services that our customers expect and deserve.”
In-person services are available during regular branch hours, and customers may use the Make an Appointment feature on Regions.com ahead of their visit. Regions is recommending customers and visitors wear a mask or face covering in Regions facilities. Throughout the pandemic, Regions has followed CDC guidelines and will continue to follow CDC guidance as the bank keeps the health and safety of associates and customers its number-one priority.
