HOUSTON, Texas – May 18, 2021 – Regions Bank on Tuesday took the latest step in its long-term Houston-area growth by formally unveiling its newly relocated branch in The Woodlands.
The modern facility, similar to 30 additional Regions locations that have opened in the area in recent years, combines the experience and personalized services of Regions’ local bankers with leading-edge technology. The result is a better customer experience, offering people and businesses more customized solutions and more convenient ways to meet their banking needs.
The branch is at 10831 Kuykendahl Road, near Flintridge Drive and the Indian Springs Center in Montgomery County. The new location replaces Regions’ previous Woodlands branch at 9480 College Park Drive.
“The Woodlands and metro Houston are significant growth markets for Regions, and the investments we are making here further illustrate our commitment to bringing greater innovation and a superior customer experience to Houston and Southeast Texas,” said John Stacy, Houston-area market executive for Regions Bank. “The new location in The Woodlands is designed to place a greater premium on personal service. Our local bankers are focused on tailoring services to each customer’s individual banking needs while providing more modern technology that enables them to bank with us however and whenever they desire.”
Upon entering the new location, customers are greeted personally by a Regions banker. There is no waiting in a traditional teller line.
Instead, all financial professionals at this branch can deliver a full range of branch-banking services, offering customers the chance to have in-depth conversations about short-term and long-term financial needs.
“In the brief period we have been open, it has been a real treat to see the reactions of our loyal customers experiencing the new branch concept for the first time,” said Woodlands Branch Manager Christopher Andrade. “This enthusiasm has really made it exciting for our branch team. We have a wealth of knowledge and experience and are ready to introduce a new way of banking to our clientele and to anyone in the community who wants to stop by for a conversation.”
In terms of technology investments, the branch is the latest in the Houston area to offer Regions’ Video Banking ATM service. Through a walk-up Video Banking ATM at the branch, customers can choose standard ATM service – or they can connect with a Regions Video Banker via live, two-way video for personal service during expanded hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays. The location also includes two drive-up DepositSmart ATMs.
“With the population in The Woodlands area increasing by more than 10% from the first to the second half of the 2010s, this latest investment in banking convenience was an easy decision,” said Earl Connell, Southeast Texas Consumer Banking executive for Regions. “The popularity of our recently opened Brazos Town Center and Fairfield Place locations proves customers are really gravitating toward this innovative pairing of in-person engagement with modern technology.”
While in-person services are available during regular branch hours, customers are encouraged to use the Make an Appointment feature on Regions.com ahead of their visit as Regions locations continue to limit capacity as a safety precaution amid COVID-19.
