ROGERS, Ark. – Sept. 7, 2022 – Regions Bank on Wednesday announced local banking veteran Jaclyn Henderson will serve as market executive for the company in Bentonville, Rogers, Siloam Springs, Springdale and Fayetteville in Northwest Arkansas and across the bank’s Southwest Missouri territory. Henderson succeeds Jerry Vest, who recently announced his retirement as Regions’ Commercial Banking Leader and local market executive. Vest’s last day with the bank was Aug. 31.
Henderson, a Northwest Arkansas native, joined Regions in 2006 as a Commerical Banking loan assistant. She later served as an underwriter for the bank’s Commercial Credit team for seven years before assuming her current Commercial Banking relationship manager role in 2015. Henderson’s prior experience included roles in Consumer Banking, and Mortgage with First Federal Bank of Harrison. Her collective experience spans more than 20 years.
In addition to serving as Regions’ local market executive, Vest has held key leadership roles in the Commercial Banking division of Regions and its predecessor banks throughout his 46-year banking career. During his tenure, Regions established and grew relationships with medium- and large-sized business clients, modernized and updated its branch footprint, and developed and supported community partnerships throughout the area. Henderson will also serve as Commercial Banking leader for Northwest Arkansas, as well as the River Valley region and Joplin, Springfield and Branson in Southwest Missouri.

As market executive, Henderson will work with leaders from across Regions’ banking departments to advance Regions360, the bank’s comprehensive approach to meeting customer needs. Through Regions360, the company’s bankers learn the unique goals of clients and collaborate with colleagues from Regions’ various divisions – including Commercial Banking, Consumer Banking and Private Wealth Management – to develop holistic solutions and ensure they are delivered seamlessly across the bank’s Northwest Arkansas and Southwest Missouri markets.
Henderson will also work with colleagues and community organizations to identify opportunities for the bank to make a meaningful difference through volunteer service, nonprofit support, teaching financial education, and more.

Henderson earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from the University of Arkansas. She also achieved the Certified Treasury Professional designation from the Association for Financial Professionals.
Henderson is actively engaged in the community with several nonprofits, serving as board secretary and Audit Committee chair for the Northwest Arkansas Community College Foundation. She is a also a board member serving the Walton Arts Center Foundation and the Civil Service Commission for the City of Rogers. Henderson was recently named to the Rogers-Lowell Chamber of Commerce board of directors, with her term to begin Jan. 1, 2023.

Henderson’s past community involvement includes serving as assistant treasurer for the Rogers Education Foundation board and as a committeee member for the Frisco Festival and Rogers Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast.. Henderson’s honors include being named to the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 class of 2021 and being a Leadership Benton County graduate.
Vest has also actively served on numerous boards to help advance the community throughout the Northwest Arkansas region. He currently serves as treasurer of the Northwest Arkansas Community College Board of Trustees and as an executive committee member of the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Rogers Airport Commission.
Vest’s past leadership roles including chairing the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce and Rogers-Lowell United Way boards of directors. Vest is also a past board chair of Hope Cancer Resources, the Walton Arts Center and the Walton Arts Center Foundation.
Vest is a founding member of the Northwest Arkansas Community College Foundation, the Mercy Hospital Foundation Northwest Arkansas and the Rogers Public Education Foundation.
Vest has also been actively involved with the Rogers Student Bank Board for nearly 25 years. Sponsored by Regions, the club helps high school students develop leadership skills and promotes education by annually awarding two scholarships.
