In the Limelight: Regions Earns 2026 Guild Opportunity Summit Award

The Learning & Development team is being recognized for its commitment to associate growth and development.

By Kenzie Sprague | November 3, 2026

What

Regions Bank was honored with a 2026 Opportunity Summit Award at the Guild Opportunity Summit, held October 13-15 in Denver, Colorado.

The award recognizes organizations that demonstrate leadership in learning and development, workforce transformation, and career mobility while creating opportunities for employees to grow and succeed.

Why

Guild selected Regions for its innovative approach to talent development, highlighting the bank’s commitment to expanding access to education and career development resources for associates.

The recognition reflects a shared commitment to making learning and career development more accessible for associates at every stage of their careers.

A great example of this is Regions’ tuition assistance program. The Learning & Development team has worked closely with Guild to enhance the program and introduce capabilities that provide greater insight into participation trends and learning needs across the organization. Those insights help ensure investments in associate development remain sustainable, impactful and aligned with both associate and business needs.

These efforts have also made education and career development more accessible by simplifying the process of pursuing degrees, certificates and other learning opportunities. Through Guild, associates have access to coaching, educational pathways and financial support that can help remove barriers to continued learning.

In Their Own Words

“What stands out about Regions is that we genuinely view development as an ongoing journey, not a one-time program. Whether an associate is looking to build skills, pursue higher education, prepare for a leadership role, or explore a new career path, there are opportunities available to support that growth.

“We’re excited to continue building on the strong foundation we’ve established with Guild. While this award is a meaningful recognition of what we’ve accomplished together, it’s also a reminder of what makes Regions special: our commitment to investing in associates’ growth.” —Seanna McGough, Head of Learning and Development
