Clarksville’s Catalyst: Regions Bank Announces Lorie Jackson as Market Executive

Banking success story continues as Jackson will deepen community, consumer and business ties.

By Veleka Finch | January 24, 2024

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Jan. 24, 2024 – Regions Bank on Wednesday announced veteran local banker Lorie Jackson has been elevated to serve as the company’s market executive for Clarksville and surrounding communities.

Originally beginning her Regions career in 2000 as a teller in Clarksville, Jackson has advanced through branch management and Commercial Banking roles, and now leads Regions’ local Private Wealth Management services. She also spearheads Regions’ involvement in a number of Clarksville community organizations and efforts. As the new market executive, Jackson succeeds longtime Regions market executive Carolyn Pierce, who retired last year.

“I’ve had the privilege of working alongside Carolyn throughout my entire career. I’m deeply grateful for her guidance and mentorship. She has been an inspiration to us all. I’m incredibly honored to serve as market executive and committed to continue building upon her legacy of excellence. I’m excited about guiding our teams’ collaboration to meet our clients’ and community’s needs as a team,” Jackson said.

Jackson will report to Frank Schriner, senior vice president and Private Wealth Management Leader for Regions across Middle Tennessee. To Schriner, Jackson’s career is the quintessential American success story.

“Starting as a teller at 22 years old and to now be in this market-wide leadership position doesn’t happen without a tremendous amount of hard work,” Schriner said. “Lorie is one of the most driven, committed people I have ever been around. She is determined to make a real impact in the lives of her customers and colleagues. She is such a caring person and will not rest until the client is completely satisfied.”

As market executive, Jackson now leads the bank’s comprehensive Regions360 approach to identifying and meeting customers’ unique banking needs. Jackson will team with local Regions colleagues in Consumer Banking, Commercial Banking, Mortgage Banking, Wealth Management, and other functions to deliver holistic financial solutions for Clarksville-area clients.

“Regions Bank understands the tremendous importance of Clarksville and all of Middle Tennessee to our success,” said John Turner, President and CEO of Regions Financial Corp. “But Lorie Jackson also exemplifies the kind of individual success that is possible for anyone who aspires to lead and serve in our company. She has proven herself in every aspect of our service delivery in Clarksville, and she is the leader we need to continue building momentum for our customers and community partners.”

A longtime community advocate, Jackson will now oversee Regions’ strategy for community engagement in Clarksville. Jackson endorses Regions’ support for economic development organizations including Aspire Clarksville and the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce and community service organizations such as Loaves and Fishes Tennessee and Operation Stand Down Tennessee. She also supports the local consumer team and Regions’ involvement at Clarksville-area schools, including personal finance classes through Junior Achievement with Northeast High School and Kenwood Middle School.

Jackson and other Regions volunteers recently worked alongside the Nashville Predators at Clarksville nonprofit YAIPak’s warehouse to collect and sort supplies that were distributed to community members impacted by a series of tornadoes last month.

Jackson and her husband, Brian, have been married for 22 years and have a 21 year-old daughter, Kayla, who is a senior at Austin Peay State University.
