Regions Bank Named to Forbes Best Employers for New Graduates 2021 List

Annual listing surveyed young U.S. professionals about workplace topics and experiences.

By Lara Warren | June 4, 2021

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – June 4, 2021 – Regions Bank has been named to the Forbes list of America’s Best Employers for New Graduates 2021. This prestigious award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. The awards list was announced on May 26, and can be viewed on the Forbes website.

Market research company Statista collaborated with Forbes to compile this annual listing of companies. They surveyed 20,000 young U.S. professionals working for companies employing at least 1,000 people on work-related topics and workplace experiences. Participants assessed their employers in the following categories: Atmosphere & Development, Diversity, Image, Salary & Wage, Working Conditions and Workplace.

“It is an honor to be named to this list,” said Ryan King, head of talent acquisition at Regions. “We’re glad that young professionals are confirming what we already know — that Regions is a great place to build a career.”

Every year Regions employs new graduates who go on to build a career at the bank.

I was introduced to a network of mentors that not only genuinely care about my professional development, but provided a safe space to share ideas, embrace challenges, and celebrate successes.
Kennedy Hicks, 2020 Graduate of the University of Alabama

“One of our core values is put people first, and I can honestly say that Regions cares about their associates at work, just as much as they care about their associates outside of work. The culture at this company is unmatched and is something that I felt as soon as I started.”

The honor of being named to the 2021 listing of America’s Best Employers for New Graduates is the latest in recognitions Regions has received in recent months:

  • Regions Earns Great Place to Work Designation
  • Regions Named Gallup Great Workplace Award Winner for Seventh Consecutive Year
  • Regions Recognized as a 2021 Military Friendly Employer
  • Regions Named One of America’s Most JUST Companies
