New Investments, New Services in Metro New Orleans: Regions Bank Opens Modern Metairie Branch

New location is part of a transformational redevelopment of Clearview City Center.

By Veleka Finch | May 26, 2021

METAIRIE, La. – May 26, 2021 – Regions Bank on Wednesday announced the opening of its Clearview branch, one of the most modern Regions locations in all of Louisiana.

The reimagined branch-banking experience combines the strengths of Regions’ local financial professionals with a highly modernized platform for offering customized financial advice, guidance and education, along with updated technology. The result is a better customer experience, one that is designed from the ground up to deliver convenient, personalized banking services for today’s consumers.

The branch is on Veterans Boulevard at the northeast end of the Clearview City Center, the former Clearview Mall site that is currently being redeveloped into a mixed-use shopping, residential and medical hub.

“To be part of the revitalization of the Clearview Mall property is incredible, and it really reflects our pride in the community and our commitment to building on Regions’ investments in Southeast Louisiana,” said Graham Ralston, Regions Bank’s market executive for Greater New Orleans. “Regions believes in an ‘omni-channel’ approach to banking. That is, we’re offering innovative digital services – while still placing a premium on local service from local professionals who take the time to understand our customers’ needs. What we have found is, particularly over the last 14 months, digital adoption has skyrocketed. At the same time, there is a clear need for that in-person touch where the person sitting across from you can offer insights and reassurance to help you reach your financial goals. These are the type of comprehensive services we’re offering through our digital and branch-banking options.”

The modern branch in a highly convenient location replaces Regions’ former Cleary and Veterans Boulevard facilities. When customers arrive at the new Clearview location, there is no waiting in a traditional teller line, like the former facilities. Instead, they are greeted personally upon arrival by a local Regions banker who is ready to tend to their personal banking needs. Customers quickly learn that whether they need to open an account, process a transaction, or seek in-depth advice on reaching a financial goal, everyone at the branch can help.

In many ways, the Clearview branch represents the best of Regions Bank in Southeast Louisiana.
Earl Connell, Consumer Banking Executive for Regions

“Our customers are excited about the look and feel of our new location and appreciate this investment in the community. We’ve been giving tours and showing how there is a whole team here who can take care of them from beginning to end,” said Rosalyn A. Phoenix, Regions’ Clearview branch manager. “In addition to personal services, we guide customers through new technology options to ensure they can use them to the best of their advantage.”

Among its technology features, the branch is the latest in the New Orleans area to offer Regions’ Video Banking ATM service. Through a drive-up and a walk-up Video Banking ATM at the branch, customers can choose standard ATM service – or they can connect with a Regions Video Banker via live, two-way video for personal service during expanded hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The location also includes drive-up and walk-up DepositSmart ATMs that can be used to withdraw cash or make deposits of checks or cash at any time, around the clock.

“In many ways, the Clearview branch represents the best of Regions Bank in Southeast Louisiana,” said Earl Connell, consumer banking executive for Regions. “We’ve brought together two great teams consisting of nine skilled bankers, along with one convenient location, and endless opportunities for customized service. The result is a customer experience that’s better suited for the needs of today’s consumers, and we are thrilled with the customer response we’re seeing already.”
