‘With Hope and Optimism’

In celebration of Black History Month, Regions looks back at past History in Motion winners.

By Doug Segrest | February 22, 2021

Since 2009, Regions Bank has honored and celebrated the accomplishments and contributions of African Americans through its annual History in Motion award and reception.

“Their examples continue to inspire us as we face new challenges in our country and communities with hope and optimism,” said Leroy Abrahams, head of Community Affairs for Regions Bank.

While the pandemic and social distancing requirements prevent Regions from holding this annual event in 2021, we’d like you to join us and take a few minutes to look at our past honorees, some of whom are no longer with us.
