Regions supports veterans, service members, and their families year-round. Pictured is a May 4, 2019, shoe delivery at Regions’ Scott Air Force Base branch in Illinois. Thousands of boxes of new children’s shoes were available for military families. Regions worked with the Trimfoot shoe company, the nonprofit HEROES Care, and others to organize the event.

What a Difference a Day Makes Shines a Light on Those who Serve our Veterans

Throughout November, vote daily for your favorite participating nonprofit.

By Doug Segrest | November 1, 2019

Fifteen nonprofits serving those who have served our country. They all make a difference.

And you can, too.

It’s simple: vote daily in the What a Difference a Day Makes contest as Regions shines a light on nonprofit organizations serving veterans, active-duty military personnel and their families. Get to know each organization. Learn about the difference they’re making. Then choose your favorite, and vote through your computer, phone or tablet once each day through Nov. 30.

You can see more in the video below, and all participating organizations are profiled further in articles at this link.

The nonprofit with the greatest number of votes through Nov. 30 will receive a $5,000 grant from Regions. Other organizations will receive grants of $500 or $1,000 based on vote totals. Regions will also provide a day of volunteer service to every organization in the contest. Voters must be 16 years of age or older and live in any of the 15 states where Regions operates branch locations.

So, check out these organizations, vote today – and every day through the end of the month.
