Before Paige Lasyone ever led a bank branch, she learned what it means to lead with heart.
“My mom and stepdad are huge pillars in their community,” Lasyone, branch manager at the Pierre Bossier Regions Bank in Louisiana, shared. “They do a Thanksgiving event every year, and so instead of a family Thanksgiving, we feed the community. We make this huge feast, and now we have over 150 people attending.”
Lasyone says her own father also served a role in shaping her will to go the extra mile.
“He had a hard time after leaving the military, but he turned it around and started helping others,” Lasyone explained. “He’d pick people up who had nowhere to go, take them out to eat and just give them a great conversation.”

It’s these lessons that shaped everything Paige does today.
“She’s the glue that holds us all together,” said Gracelyn Austin, relationship banker at Lasyone’s branch. “She’s always going above and beyond, and not just here at the branch, but with volunteering and working with the community.
“She’s definitely the central location everyone flocks to whenever they need help.”
Inside the branch, associates said Lasyone creates a culture that feels like home.
“Paige brings a sense of connection,” said Relationship Banker Lauren Palmer. “She’s the embodiment of community and family. She makes sure everyone feels seen, heard and appreciated.”
“She’s giving. She gives of herself, of her time. She is welcoming, she is warm,” added Gabryel Garlington. “You can’t help but meet her and immediately feel like you’re part of her family. I seriously do not know where she finds the hours in the day to do all the things she does.”
Trevor Parrish, consumer banking manager for Regions in Northwest Louisiana, noted how Lasyone reflects the very heart of the company’s culture, “where extra is our ordinary.”
“Paige exemplifies what it means to lead with heart,” Parrish said. “Her commitment to serving others and rallying our team around community causes like United Way reflects the culture we strive for at Regions, where leadership is about lifting others and making a lasting impact.”

The extra she brings extends far beyond the bank’s walls.
“Paige is one of our biggest cheerleaders,” said LaToria Thomas, president and CEO of United Way of Northwest Louisiana. “She rallies Regions employees around the mission of United Way. She ensures they know what we’re working on, so they feel connected to the work, and it really helps us do more.”
Ask Lasyone why she goes the extra mile in everything she does, and her answer is simple.
“I love Regions, so I want everyone else to love them, too,” Lasyone said. “They’ve done so much for associates and myself included, that I want customers to know we care.
“Being out there and having the Regions name out there when I’m in the community is just another way of doing that.”
It’s the little bit of extra she hopes to pass along to the next generation, as well.
“I definitely have tons of energy and love to be excited about anything and everything,” Lasyone said. “I have two kids that are very young, so part of what I want to instill in them is the sense of giving back again and caring about your community.”
