Small Business Gifts Others

Meet Camden & Blue, a corporate gifting company that uplifts other small businesses.

By Nicole Wyatt | March 6, 2025

In a world of mass-produced swag and forgettable freebies, Camden & Blue is redefining corporate gifting – one thoughtfully assembled package at a time.

“It may not seem like a huge thing in the grand scheme of things, but when someone receives an unsuspected surprise, that can really move a person – you know, change a day,” says owner and founder Atarsha McMillian, who launched her business just over four years ago.

“I started Camden & Blue in an effort to serve corporate clients with perfectly curated gifts that highlight their brand and take the stress from them of having to do it themselves,” says McMillian. “It is handmade, and we want everyone who receives one to receive one in pristine condition and feel like in that moment they were thought of.”

For her, every gift is more than just a token of appreciation from its giver. It’s a labor of love, crafted with care. Of utmost importance to McMillian is ensuring each item included in her gifting is sourced from small businesses that share her passion for quality and community.

“My primary goal is to work with small businesses, so we primarily source from local, regional, or women-owned businesses, and they allow me to see what the newest products are, what the newest scents are, what the latest gadgets are that will blend harmoniously with a clients brand, which is the main focus.”

By championing local artisans and makers, she’s turning corporate gifting into something truly meaningful – one small business supporting another, wrapped up in a beautifully curated experience.

“It’s important to support other small businesses because it’s where I feel like I come from, and I want other people to have their dreams realized, too,” McMillian said. “So, if I can help in any small way, of introducing them to a new client pool, having one additional sale for the month or anything like that, I’ll do it.”

McMillian took that local approach to her banking needs, too.

“Initially setting up my banking and getting an understanding of my finances was easy. I went to my local Regions and met a wonderful person who walked me through each step of how to get everything setup, what it would look like for me, and the aspects of benefits of working with Regions,” McMillian said.

“Banking Atarsha and her small business is a privilege,” says Joy Steele, team lead at the Alabaster Promenade Regions Branch. “Her commitment to supporting other small businesses is inspiring, and we’re proud to help meet her banking needs in a way that allows her to focus on what matters most – growing Camden & Blue and empowering others.”

McMillian hopes to see her small business grow over time and evolve into the premier custom gifting service for the Southeast, something she is well on her way to achieving.

“It’s very important that we support the businesses in the communities that we live in so that they can keep the dream alive, too,”
