Regions Contributes $21.5 Million to Associate 401(k) Accounts

Regions is helping associates achieve their retirement goals.

By Lara Warren | April 6, 2021

Regions strives to make life better for our associates by offering benefits that touch on every area of life, from finding a work-life balance to planning for retirement.

This is why, again this year, Regions made an employer contribution to the 401(k) Plan accounts of eligible associates in an amount equal to 2% of their eligible compensation.

Approximately 14,000 associates received a total of $21.5 million in contributions based on their 2020 service.

“This contribution is an investment in our associates,” said Jill Shelton, head of Total Rewards at Regions. “We believe that investing in our associates in this way increases engagement, reduces turnover, and ultimately, makes life better for our associates and their families.”

To further help our associates retire with more security, Regions also matches eligible associates’ 401(k) contributions up to 5% of eligible compensation. Regions’ 401(k) plan is one of many great benefits available to Regions associates. Learn more about careers at Regions.
