Regions Bank Names Jake Jacobs as Florence Market Executive

Experienced leader to build on Regions’ competitive service and strategic community support.

 FLORENCE, Ala. – Jan. 06, 2023 – Regions Bank on Friday announced Jake Jacobs has been elevated to serve as the bank’s market executive in Florence and surrounding communities in Northwest Alabama.

Jacobs has nearly 20 years of Wealth Management experience, delivering customized financial-management solutions for people in the area. He will continue to serve as a Regions wealth advisor in his new, expanded role as market executive.

We are committed to the success of our communities and to consistently developing new ways to serve.”

As market executive, Jacobs will lead the local delivery of Regions360, the bank’s team-based approach to service. Through Regions360, colleagues from Regions’ Commercial Banking, Consumer Banking, Mortgage Banking, and Wealth Management divisions work as a team to leverage their experience and develop comprehensive solutions designed to better meet customers’ financial needs.

As part of his market executive responsibilities, Jacobs will work with colleagues and community members to identify opportunities for the bank to advance its community engagement strategy in the area. Regions specifically prioritizes community investments and volunteerism in the areas of financial wellness; education and workforce readiness; and economic and community development.

We are honored to serve them,” said Jacobs. “Florence has been my home for the last 37 years, and I’m incredibly proud to lead the collaboration of Regions’ teams serving this area. Jacobs graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He joined Regions in 2004 after a 16-year career as a small-business owner. He has a certified wealth strategist designation from the Cannon Financial Institute. Additionally, he holds National Association of Securities Dealers series 7 and 63 licenses and a life insurance license from the State of Alabama.

Active in the community, Jacobs serves on the board of directors for the Shoals YMCA and is a  member of the Shoals Chamber of Commerce. He is past president of Downtown Florence Unlimited. Jacobs previously served on the board of directors for the Alabama Restaurant Association and is previous chairman of Finance for St. Joseph Catholic Church.
