ST. LOUIS, Mo. – March 4, 2020 – Regions Bank on Wednesday announced the opening of its newest location in the St. Louis area.
The Lemay branch at 2582 Lemay Ferry Road becomes the bank’s latest modernized Missouri location to feature more personalized services while leveraging enhanced technology to extend service hours. Regions announced significant expansion plans for its Greater St. Louis branch network in 2017 and has since added more than 10 new locations.
“Regions Bank is committed to Greater St. Louis by offering more modern locations staffed with banking professionals who understand the financial goals and opportunities of our neighbors and local businesses,” said Mike Hart, Greater St. Louis Market Executive for Regions. “The addition of each of our branches reflects an expanded opportunity to reach new customers and serve more communities. We’re proud to continue building on our investments in Greater St. Louis as we open our Lemay location.”
The Lemay branch features an open floor plan. There is no waiting in a traditional teller line. Instead, when people arrive, they are greeted personally by a banker who can meet a full range of branch-banking needs. The result is less time waiting to be referred to other bankers for specialized services and more time spent receiving personal attention from financial professionals focused on helping customers reach their own, unique goals.
Regions’ Lemay location features individual banking stations versus a traditional teller line.
“Regions unveiled this more modern, more personal approach to banking in the St. Louis area in 2015, when we opened our Arnold location,” said Josh Morris, who previously served customers at Arnold and now manages Regions’ Lemay branch. “Over the last few years, we’ve consistently refined and enhanced the branch-banking experience. While our Lemay branch has the newest, latest technology from Regions, it’s still built around what’s so important in banking – personal service from people who take the time to listen to customers and understand their needs.”
The technology at Lemay includes Regions’ Video Banking ATMs. These machines not only dispense cash – they also can accept deposits of cash or checks and facilitate funds transfers around the clock. Further, the ATMs give customers the choice to connect with a Regions Video Banker via live, two-way video for personal service during an extended set of hours.
Regions’ Video Banking ATMs allow people to choose standard ATM service or personal service from a Regions Video Banker, who speaks with customers via live, two-way video.
Regions Video Bankers are available on weekdays from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. CT. They are also available on Saturdays from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Sundays from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. and during most holidays.
Regions will host a grand opening at Lemay Saturday, March 7 from 10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. The event will include lunch provided by Seoul Taco Food Truck, games and free giveaways provided by the St. Louis FC soccer club while supplies last.
Attendees will have a chance to register to win a LifeGreen Regions custom cruiser bicycle, as well as a $500 Visa gift card. The bank will also have its LifeGreen big bike onsite for photos.
