Regions Bank Builds on Middle Tennessee Investments with Modern Smyrna Branch

Newly rebuilt location complements several modern Regions branches throughout Tennessee.

By Kim Borges | August 25, 2020

SMYRNA, Tenn. – Aug. 25, 2020 – Regions Bank on Tuesday announced the opening of its modern Smyrna branch at 415 Sam Ridley Parkway W. The location was the site of a previous Regions facility that has been rebuilt from the ground up to place a stronger focus on personal service and enhanced technology.

“The opening of our redesigned Smyrna branch offers an opportunity to expand how we serve our neighbors in Rutherford County,” said Laurie Coggins, consumer banking manager for Regions in Middle Tennessee. “Regions Bank has been part of this area for many years. We understand the needs of the people and businesses we serve, and this new facility allows us to build on our legacy of delivering outstanding customer service and practical solutions to help customers achieve their financial goals.”

In addition to advice and guidance provided by local bankers, the rebuilt branch emphasizes greater convenience by offering two Regions Video Banking ATMs. Through these ATMs, customers can choose standard ATM service – or they can connect with a Regions Video Banker via live, two-way video for personal service during an expanded set of hours.

Regions Video Bankers can answer customers’ questions, provide account maintenance, process transactions, and more – all in real time.

Regions Video Bankers are available from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. CT on weekdays. They are also available on Saturdays from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. CT and Sundays from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. CT. Holiday hours are 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. CT as well.

The branch offers a Video Banking ATM in the drive-through and one inside the foyer. The foyer is accessible after-hours by scanning a debit or credit card with a magnetic stripe for entry.

Regions Video Bankers offer personal service well into the evening and during weekends and holidays. The Smyrna branch has Video Banking ATMs in the drive-through and foyer.

Further, two Regions DepositSmart ATMs® are conveniently placed along the branch’s exterior. Through the DepositSmart machines, Regions customers can use the ATMs to not only withdraw cash – but also make deposits of cash or checks at any time.

“This branch combines modern technology with the best in personal service,” said Melanie Blank, consumer banking executive for Regions in Tennessee. “Our Video Banking and DepositSmart ATMs offer tremendous convenience, especially during this time of social distancing. At the same time, our Smyrna banking team is here to offer one-on-one, customized advice and guidance. From building savings plans to evaluating financial options for the long term, we have insights and experience that can help.”

The rebuilt branch complements Regions’ additional Smyrna location at 301 S. Lowry St.
