Regions Bank Announces Latest Huntsville-Area Investment

New Town Madison branch builds on Regions’ legacy of serving the Tennessee Valley and helping customers build financial confidence.

By Veleka Finch | April 9, 2024

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – April 9, 2024 – Regions Bank on Tuesday announced its latest investment in the metro Huntsville market – the new Town Madison branch along Martin Road Southwest.

The branch, currently under construction near Redstone Arsenal Gate 7, will become one of the most modern Regions facilities not only in the Tennessee Valley, but also throughout Regions’ entire footprint. It is projected to open in the third quarter of the year.

Our approach blends personalized service with practical technology, to offer meaningful individualized plans, sound advice, and convenient access to tools and resources.
Brandon Greve, Consumer Banking Executive for Regions Bank

“At Regions, banking is about much more than opening accounts or handling transactions. Our focus is to provide personalized financial guidance from people who care – and who take the time to truly listen to customers’ unique needs,” said Brandon Greve, Consumer Banking Executive for Regions Bank.

“Our approach blends personalized service with practical technology, to offer meaningful individualized plans, sound advice, and convenient access to tools and resources,” Greve continued. “The Town Madison branch is being built entirely around that concept – local bankers meeting the financial needs of local consumers and businesses.”

The branch will be notable not only for what it has – such as innovative technology and a modern design – but also for what it doesn’t have. There will be no waiting in a traditional teller line. In fact, there will be no teller line at all.

Instead, when customers walk into the new Town Madison branch, they will be greeted personally by a Regions banker who is ready to deliver a full range of services. Rather than customers needing to be referred from one banker to another for more in-depth needs, every banker at Town Madison will be ready to provide a wide array of services from account setup to helping people create customized roadmaps toward reaching their own, unique financial goals.

Talking about money can be difficult, but it doesn’t have to be. We have experience helping people build savings, pay down debts, and accomplish goals they may not have thought were possible.
Greg Darby, Consumer Banking Manager for Regions Bank

This relationship-based approach to service is powered by an experience called Regions Greenprint®. Through Greenprint conversations, Regions bankers help individual consumers and small-business owners create customized goals with recommended next steps designed to help them accomplish those goals. The focus is to help customers build not only greater financial confidence but also greater awareness of the tools and information – as well as insights from local bankers – that are all within their reach to help them succeed.

“Talking about money can be difficult, but it doesn’t have to be. We have experience helping people build savings, pay down debts, and accomplish goals they may not have thought were possible,” said Greg Darby, Consumer Banking Manager for Regions Bank. “Our research shows there’s a strong demand for this type of service. That’s why Regions will be placing a greater emphasis on this personalized service not only at Town Madison but at all our locations. The in-person customer experience is the perfect complement to the enhanced technology available on the Regions Mobile Banking app. Plus, with the financial wellness information on Regions.com, we’re making valuable insights available to everyone, whether they bank with us or not.”

The Town Madison location serves as a modernized replacement for two older, nearby Regions locations – the Madison, AL, branch on Madison Boulevard and the Redstone Arsenal branch. Regions ATMs will remain available at Redstone through three conveniently placed walk-up ATMs across the Redstone property:

    • Sparkman Center
    • Von Bruan Office Complex
    • Redstone Post Exchange (PX)

The Regions DepositSmart ATM® pictured here inside the Sparkman Center at Redstone Arsenal, is one of three Regions ATMs that will remain operating after the Redstone Arsenal branch closes. The DepositSmart machine can accept deposits of cash or checks at any time, day or night – in addition to cashing checks for Regions customers on the spot.

The Town Madison branch and other Regions locations near Redstone will provide in-person branch-banking services. Regions builds and refines its branch and ATM network based on several factors, including customer patterns, overall demand and the ability to offer modernized services in convenient and highly accessible locations.

“Regions Bank has a history going back more than 170 years, and Huntsville was one of the original communities served by the predecessor banks that came together to build the Regions name – and our presence at Redstone will continue to be a cornerstone of our service in the area,” concluded Sean Kelly, Huntsville Market Executive for Regions Bank. “We’ve been a part of the Tennessee Valley’s growth the entire time, and we look forward to welcoming longtime customers – and new customers – to our new Town Madison branch when it opens this year.”
