JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Regions Bank announced Jim Richardson has joined the bank and will serve as Market Executive in Jacksonville and surrounding communities.
Richardson joins a team of Regions leaders who consistently leverage their experience and insights to expand Regions’ client base along the First Coast, while also taking a proactive role in addressing community needs.
As Market Executive, Richardson will serve as Regions’ Commercial Banking Leader, guiding experienced teams as they deliver customized financial services to businesses and employers across Northeast Florida. Further, his Market Executive role will place a clear emphasis on strategic community engagement. Richardson will work with colleagues and community members to identify opportunities for Regions to deliver volunteer service, nonprofit support and financial education in ways that help create more inclusive prosperity throughout the area.
Jim’s expertise, combined with the experience of our entire Jacksonville leadership team, will help Regions further strengthen its focus on this vibrant area.

Richardson brings nearly 30 years of experience in Commercial Banking, Consumer Banking and leadership roles to Regions. He came to Jacksonville as Area Business Banking Manager for Wells Fargo in 2014. Earlier, he held leadership positions for Wells Fargo and Wachovia in Alabama and North Carolina. His banking career began with First American Savings and Loan in North Carolina in 1990.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington, Richardson holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance. In addition, he is a graduate of Wake Forest University’s Babcock School of Banking.

Regions’ Jacksonville leadership team also includes Jennifer Kirouac, who serves as Consumer Banking Manager overseeing the company’s branch-banking operations across Duval and Nassau Counties. Josh Allen also serves as Consumer Banking Manager and leads branch-banking teams in the southern portion of the Jacksonville market, including St John’s, Clay and Volusia Counties.
Further, Erik Johnson of Regions Private Wealth Management leads a team of Advisors who serve clients through tailored financial advice and market insights. As Private Wealth Area Business Manager, Johnson and his team of subject-matter experts work to serve clients’ financial needs and goals with customized solutions designed to accomplish a variety of investment objectives.
Also, Jim Branch serves as Jacksonville-based Mortgage Production Manager for Regions. Branch’s team meets the residential financing needs of clients across Northeast Florida, specializing in construction and renovation loans, mortgages for first-time homebuyers, financing for self-employed borrowers, condominium financing and other home financing needs.
Together, each of these leaders, across all departments, will focus their teams on reaching the objectives of Regions360, the bank’s comprehensive approach to meeting customers’ needs. Through Regions360, the company’s bankers learn the unique goals of each customer and collaborate with colleagues from Regions’ various banking departments to develop holistic solutions that are customized for individual clients.
