More Investments in the Mid-South: Regions Bank Unveils Reimagined Branch in Collierville

Branch becomes the latest in Greater Memphis to combine Regions’ enhanced technology with a more personalized customer experience.

By Kim Borges | October 25, 2021

COLLIERVILLE, Tenn. – Oct. 25, 2021 – Regions Bank on Monday announced its latest investment in Greater Memphis with the formal unveiling of its reimagined Collierville location.

The address remains 1300 West Poplar Ave. The experienced banking team remains in place to deliver exceptional service. But the customer experience itself is greatly enhanced by a unique blend of Regions’ latest technology and a branch design that places a greater premium on personal attention and customized service from local financial professionals.

“When Regions Bank began rewriting the book on how service should be delivered to better meet the needs of today’s consumers, several of our earliest investments were made here in Memphis,” said David May, market executive for Regions Bank in Greater Memphis. “Today, we are excited to build on our Mid-South commitment by welcoming people to see what we’ve done at our modernized Collierville branch. No one serves Greater Memphis like Regions Bank. And just one visit to this location, or any of our local branches, will help people discover the difference.”

In Collierville, that difference includes the fact that customers will no longer have to wait in a traditional teller line. Instead, as soon as they walk into the 1300 West Poplar facility, they will be greeted personally by a Regions banker who is ready to listen to their needs and assist with everything from basic transactions to in-depth conversations about unique financial goals. An open floorplan and technology-enhanced meeting spaces are designed to foster more open communication between customers and bankers as Regions’ teams develop a tailored approach to meeting each client’s needs.

“Indeed, we have a lot of great technology and a very modern design in this branch, but it’s important to remember that before we can truly serve our customers, we simply have to listen,” said Brian Raiteri, Consumer Banking manager for Regions. “Sometimes that can get lost in today’s busy society, but not at Regions. We have experience and insights that can help people get from where they are today to where they want to be in the future in terms of achieving their financial goals.”

The Collierville branch is also the Mid-South’s latest to offer Regions’ Video Banking ATM service. Through a walk-up ATM in the foyer, customers can choose standard ATM service – or they can connect with a Regions Video Banker via live, two-way video for personal service during an expanded set of hours including evenings, weekends and holidays. Regions Video Bankers can answer customers’ questions, provide account maintenance, process transactions, and more – all in real time. The foyer is accessible after-hours by scanning a debit or credit card with a magnetic stripe for entry.

The Collierville location also includes two drive-up DepositSmart ATMs, which not only dispense cash but also can accept deposits of cash or checks around the clock.

“From downtown to Germantown, from Ridgeway to Raleigh, as well as East Memphis, Arlington and now Collierville, too, Regions Bank has shown how committed we are to Memphis and the Mid-South,” May added. “We will never stop innovating in how we serve people, including through our local branch locations, and this investment in Collierville is the latest incredible example of our commitment.”

In-person services are available during regular branch hours, and customers may use the Make an Appointment feature on Regions.com ahead of their visit. Regions continues to recommend that customers follow CDC guidance and any additional guidance from local health authorities regarding safety precautions amid COVID-19.

To celebrate the location’s reimagined look, the branch is conducting a giveaway for a Regions LifeGreen custom cruiser bicycle. Entries are being accepted until 5:00 p.m. C.T. October 29, 2021. No purchase or banking relationship is required to enter the drawing.
