Miles College Proud

Available now, new branded collegiate debit card lets students, alumni and fans show their pride in the Birmingham academic institution.

By Kyndle Huey | July 26, 2022

Miles College, a private, liberal arts institution in Fairfield, Alabama, is the only four-year institution in the Birmingham metropolitan area designated as a member of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU).

It’s only fitting that an institution less than 10 miles from Regions’ headquarters in downtown Birmingham, Alabama, should be added to the bank’s lineup of HBCU collegiate debit cards.

Regions Bank is a longtime community partner of Miles College. Lajuana Bradford, Regional Community Development and Partnerships manager at Regions and member of the Miles College Board of Trustees, is glad to see the partnership with Miles College expand with the addition of the branded card. “Regions works to foster close relationships with HBCUs across our footprint through financial education programs, volunteerism, and supporting student and alumni engagement,” said Bradford. “This debit card is one more way we can help connect with students, faculty, staff and supporters of Miles College.”

Existing customers can order the card through Regions branches, by calling 1-800-REGIONS, or through the online Regions YourPix Studio® at regions.com/yourpixstudio. If you do not currently have a checking account, you can open an account online or visit your local Regions branch and select the Miles College card. The Miles College debit card can be used with all Regions Bank personal checking accounts, including LifeGreen Checking for Students® and Regions Now CheckingSM. The new option is also available for Regions Now Card®.

“I am grateful for the continued support that Regions Bank has shown to Miles College and our students,” said Bobbie Knight, Miles College president. “This is another great opportunity for Miles College students, alumni, and supporters to continue to showcase their pride for our illustrious institution.”

In addition to Miles College, Regions offers a number of other collegiate debit cards, including SEC and HBCU card options. For more information on collegiate cards and other options available to customize a debit card, visit yourpix.regions.com.
