Investing in the Mid-South: Regions Bank Unveils Modern Raleigh Medical and Horn Lake Branches

New locations combine the insights of local bankers with enhanced technology and convenience.

By Kim Borges | July 28, 2020

MEMPHIS, Tenn. and HORN LAKE, Miss. – July 28, 2020 – Regions Bank on Tuesday announced the opening of two Mid-South branches that place a greater emphasis on personal service while connecting customers with updated technology designed to make banking easier.

“Over the last several years, Regions Bank has made significant investments in modernizing our Memphis-area branch network. Our new Raleigh Medical and Horn Lake locations are the latest examples of Regions’ commitment to building on our legacy of service in the Mid-South,” said David May, Memphis market executive for Regions Bank. “By combining the experience of our local teams with modern technology and greater convenience, Regions Bank is reaching higher for our customers and positioning ourselves for additional growth in serving our community. We look forward to welcoming longtime customers, and meeting new customers, as we share what Regions has to offer at these locations.”

The new Raleigh Medical branch at 3954 Austin Peay Highway in Memphis replaces Regions’ previous Raleigh-area location at 3535 Austin Peay Highway. The new Horn Lake branch is at 3850 Goodman Road in DeSoto County, Mississippi. This facility replaces Regions’ former Bullfrog Corner location at 1463 Goodman Road.

We’re here and ready to offer peace of mind in serving our clients – when, where and how they need.
Michael Pardue, Consumer Banking executive for Regions

In addition to customized financial advice and guidance provided by Regions bankers at each location, the branches emphasize convenience through features such as Regions Video Banking ATMs. Through these ATMs, customers can choose standard ATM service – or they can connect with a Regions Video Banker via live, two-way video for personal service during an expanded set of hours. Regions Video Bankers can answer customers’ questions, provide account maintenance, process transactions, and more – all in real time.

Regions Video Bankers are available from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. CT on weekdays. They are also available on Saturdays from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and on Sundays from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Holiday hours are also from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. The Raleigh Medical and Horn Lake locations both offer a Video Banking ATM in their drive-through areas and their foyers. The foyers are accessible after-hours by scanning a debit or credit card with a magnetic stripe for entry.

The drive-throughs at each location offer Regions DepositSmart ATMs as well as a Video Banking ATM. Video Banking ATMs allow people to choose standard ATM service or personal service from a Regions Video Banker.

The branches also feature Regions DepositSmart ATMs®. Through the DepositSmart machines, Regions customers can use the ATMs to not only withdraw cash – but also to make deposits of cash or checks at any time.

“Banking technology is especially important during this time of social distancing,” said Michael Pardue, Consumer Banking executive for Regions. “Our Video Banking and DepositSmart ATMs offer expanded access for our customers to conduct banking business when it’s convenient for them. And our team remains committed to helping through customized insights that address our customers’ unique financial needs.”

In-person services are currently being conducted by appointment only, similar to all Regions branches throughout the bank’s footprint, to help protect the health and well-being of customers and associates during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We’re here and ready to offer peace of mind in serving our clients – when, where and how they need,” said Pardue.
