NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Feb. 26, 2024 – Regions Bank on Monday announced the appointment of two experienced Nashville bankers to serve in key roles within the company’s Music Row Office.
- Ryan Sullivan was recently recruited to the Regions team and will serve as a Commercial Banking relationship manager focused on serving the global music industry from Regions’ Music Row Office.
- In addition, Chase Chapman, a longtime banker for Regions, has been elevated to lead Private Wealth Management services for Music Row clients.
Sullivan brings 10 years of music industry finance and capital markets experience to Regions’ Entertainment and Sports Division. This team of Regions bankers on Music Row includes a range of financial professionals who deliver specialty banking capabilities for the people and businesses who’ve built Nashville’s reputation as a music industry powerhouse. Sullivan reports to Chris Claybrook, Commercial Banking executive for Regions in Nashville.
“For over 140 years, no one has served Nashville like Regions Bank, and with the addition of Ryan to our Music Row team, we’re building on our legacy as the premier financial institution for Middle Tennessee,” Claybrook said. “Ryan has earned a reputation of delivering a superior client experience. He understands the unique needs of companies operating within the music industry. At a time when people and businesses have a lot of choices when it comes to banking, Ryan’s experience and insights will continue to set Regions Bank apart.”
Most recently, Sullivan served as a relationship manager for the music industry at Fifth Third Bank, where he built an industry network including independent music labels, publishers and copyright investment funds. Sullivan began his career as an account executive with the Flood Bumstead McCready & McCarthy business and financial-management firm in Nashville.

Music Row Icon Retires, Service Legacy Continues
In Regions’ Private Wealth Management division, Chapman is inheriting leadership responsibilities from Lisa Harless, a longtime Music Row wealth advisor who recently retired from Regions after 38 years. Harless was the most tenured financial professional serving Music Row clients at Regions, which itself is the most tenured bank in Nashville.
“After successfully managing our Music Row bank branch for several years, Chase transitioned to the Wealth Management role and worked hand-in-hand with Lisa well in advance of her retirement,” explained Lee Blank, Middle Tennessee market executive for Regions Bank. “Chase quickly established his own reputation for quality service, and he’s well positioned to carry on Lisa’s legacy. With Music Row now in the capable hands of leaders like Ryan and Chase, we could not ask for a better team to guide the services we’re delivering to local clients.”
Harless shared her enthusiasm for Regions’ continued commitment to Music Row, as well as gratitude toward clients who’ve seen their financial portfolios grow as Regions has grown with Nashville itself.

“I know Regions’ clients will remain in the best of hands,” Harless said. “That’s a testament to Regions’ teams across the Private Wealth Management, Commercial Banking and Consumer Banking groups. They are working across departments every day to meet the unique needs of Regions’ Nashville clientele. On a personal level, I could have never imagined the incredible opportunities I would be afforded to work with such talented, creative, and legendary clients – and fellow financial professionals. I have every confidence the entire Music Row team will build on Regions’ tradition of superior service.”
Harless noted how Regions’ team remains committed to the fundamentals she put to work on behalf of every client throughout her tenure.
“I strived to leave behind an example of responsiveness, dependability, positivity, loyalty and teamwork, and I’m confident our current Music Row team shares my passion and commitment for serving entertainment industry clients,” Harless concluded. “I had an extraordinary and rewarding career with Regions, and I will forever be a Regions ambassador.”
