Congratulations to Regions Bank’s Paige Lasyone who has been selected as one of this year’s top 15 young professionals under 40 by the Greater Minden Chamber.
Who:
Paige Lasyone
Branch Manager, Minden, Louisiana
What:
The Greater Minden Chamber 2023 15 Under 40 Awards honor business professionals under the age of 40 in the Greater Minden area. Nominated by seasoned professionals in their field, the winners are chosen based on such values as achievement, experience and innovation, vision, leadership, and community involvement. Lasyone will be recognized by the Chamber at an awards ceremony on Oct. 24.
Why:
For Lasyone, who has been with Regions for four years, this award is about community engagement and professional achievement. Her dedication to We’re Here, a nonprofit with the mission to empower at-risk youth, and as a board member of United Way of Northwest Louisiana – both of which she supports through the Regions Associates in ActionSM program – stems from her desire to make life better for the community where she lives and works. Paige said she got her heart for service from her parents, who modeled the importance of loving your neighbors and always helping others.
“Paige is a staple in her work and home communities,” said Nicholas Carlson, Consumer Banking Manager for the Shreveport market. “She is passionate about helping others succeed in their careers and lending a hand, in part through her involvement with numerous nonprofits that support community members in all walks of life.”
In Her Own Words:
“There is nothing like seeing smiles on people’s faces when you do something to better their lives or the area they live in – from working with We’re Here to give children confidence and opportunities to grow, to giving back to our community with United Way of Northwest Louisiana through disaster relief, family services, financial empowerment and education and more. The relationships forged during these activities are also rewarding as I love getting the chance to meet people, hear their stories and get to know them through community outreach. As a Regions associate, I have always been encouraged to do more for our community and we have an amazing, uplifting team that is very supportive and actively involved locally. Without my team, I would not be where I am today.”
