Grand Opening Scheduled for Hot Springs Regions Bank Relocation

Upgraded technology, expanded access to banking services offered at Regions’ new Hot Springs Main branch.

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – Innovative technology, a modern layout and expanded access to personal service are among key features of the new Regions Bank Hot Springs Main branch, which will celebrate its grand opening Thursday, April 7.

“This new location combines innovative technology with the personal touch that is so important in banking,” said David Trice, Hot Springs City President for Regions Bank. “Now more than ever, Regions will be here to serve our customers when, where and how they want to be served.”

The new Hot Springs Main branch, located at 302 Malvern Ave., is directly across Broadway Street from Regions’ current Hot Springs Main branch.

The relocated branch is a full-service facility staffed with experienced banking professionals who are dedicated to helping customers achieve their financial goals. In addition to branch banking associates, the facility will house business banking, wealth management, mortgage and other personnel.

Further, the new Hot Springs Main branch will be the first branch in the area to offer Regions’ new Video Teller service.

Video Teller machines connect customers with a Regions representative via two-way video. Along with processing most teller transactions, Regions’ Video Bankers can help customers with account maintenance, general inquiries and more.

Video Bankers are available during extended hours on weekdays (7 a.m. – 8 p.m. CT). They are also available on Saturdays (8 a.m. – 5 p.m. CT), Sundays (11 a.m. – 5 p.m. CT), and most holidays (8 a.m. – 5 p.m. CT).

The Hot Springs Main location also offers two DepositSmart ATMs. In addition to dispensing cash, Regions DepositSmart ATMs can accept deposits and cash checks for customers at any time, day or night. One DepositSmart ATM is located in the drive-through area of the new branch. The other is located in a 24-hour vestibule. After branch hours, the vestibule is accessible through the swipe of a Regions ATM or debit card for DepositSmart ATM services around the clock.

“This new location, and our enhanced services, reflect our commitment to Hot Springs,” Trice added. “Whether it’s serving customers online, through our mobile channels or face-to-face in our branch locations, Regions is dedicated to helping people and businesses reach their financial goals.”

Regions and the Greater Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce invite members of the public to celebrate the ribbon cutting of the new facility at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, April 7. The branch’s grand opening ceremony will then begin at 4 p.m.

Following the ceremony, the branch will host public tours until 6 p.m. Visitors can also register to win one of two Regions LifeGreen bicycles.

As part of Regions’ move to the new facility, the company is donating a Regions-owned parking lot at the corner of Malvern Avenue and Church Street to the Hot Springs Advertising and Promotion Commission. Previously serving as an overflow lot for Regions’ main branch, the commission plans to utilize the lot as additional parking for the nearby convention center.

“The generous donation of the parking lot near the Hot Springs Convention Center by Regions Bank is a wonderful example of the bank’s commitment to the citizens of Hot Springs and to the economic health of our community,” said David Longinotti, chairman of the Hot Springs Advertising and Promotion Commission. “The addition of this space to the available parking resources near the convention center will be enormously important to the work by Visit Hot Springs and the Advertising and Promotion Commission to continue the economic growth that visitors contribute daily to our city.”
