Expanding in Metro Atlanta: Regions Bank Opens Modern Branch in Johns Creek; More Investments to Come

An appreciation event to recognize local healthcare heroes is planned for Dec. 8.

By Veleka Finch | December 8, 2021

ATLANTA, Ga. – Dec. 8, 2021 – Regions Bank on Wednesday continued its expansion across Metro Atlanta with the unveiling of its State Bridge branch in Johns Creek. Regions also plans to open new branches in Sandy Springs, Loganville, and Marietta by the end of 2021, reflecting  the bank’s intensified investment strategy to enhance its Metro Atlanta branch network.

The State Bridge Branch is in the Medlock Corners Shopping Center, near the corner of State Bridge and Medlock Bridge Roads. The location features  Regions’ brand of modern, personalized banking to meet and exceed customer expectations.

“Regions Bank has made substantial investments in digital services that allow our customers to bank when and how they want, but our local bankers remain the keystone of our banking relationships,” said Bill Linginfelter, market executive for Regions in Atlanta. “The recent technology enhancements  we’ve made at State Bridge and our additional new branches across Atlanta complement the capabilities of our branch-banking associates to provide customized financial solutions to our customers.”

Regions will celebrate the opening of the State Bridge branch by treating local healthcare workers to lunch on Wednesday. The bank will safely deliver 200 meals to staff at Emory Johns Creek Hospital by way of  the LifeGreen Regions ‘big bike.’

“We’ve been cultivating great connections here in the community, and we’d like to honor our local healthcare heroes for their dedication to helping others in these challenging times,” said Matthew Quinn, State Bridge branch manager. “Everyone who visits our State Bridge branch loves the look and appreciates how our modern  design allows for a deeper relationship with each banker. They are pleased to learn that each member of our team can serve as their one stop for whatever needs they have.”

Customers realize they’ve entered a one-stop location as soon as they walk through the door of the State Bridge branch. There is no traditional teller line. Instead, a Regions banker instantly greets each customer. In addition to helping open accounts or complete transactions, that same banker can speak in-depth about the customer’s present financial picture and offer guidance for a brighter financial future.

The State Bridge location also offers Regions’ Video Banking ATM service. Through two Video Banking ATMs – one in the drive-through and one “walk-up” machine near the entrance of the branch – Regions customers can choose standard ATM service, or they can connect with a Regions Video Banker via live, two-way video. Video Bankers deliver personal service during expanded hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The location also includes a drive-up DepositSmart ATM, which can accept deposits of cash or checks any time, day or night.

“Our State Bridge location is just the latest example of how we’re providing our customers with a holistic banking experience,” said Mia Hubbard, consumer banking executive for Regions. “Through the combination of advanced technology and our dedicated and skilled local bankers, we’re making banking easier as we serve each customer’s unique needs. It reflects our commitment to deliver all of Regions to our customers every day.”
