Convenient Walk-Up Banking in Miami Beach: Regions Bank Opens South Beach Branch

Modern, storefront location combines newest technology with in-person service to deliver smarter, more convenient access to banking services

By Veleka Finch | April 29, 2021

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – April 29, 2021 – Regions Bank on Thursday announced the opening of its latest branch in South Florida. The South Beach storefront branch in Miami Beach combines in-person service from local bankers with the newest technology to deliver a smarter and more convenient way to access banking services.

The branch is at the corner of Alton Road and 17th Street. Construction was completed earlier this month making the branch one of the most modern Regions locations in Florida.

“South Beach continues to be a high-growth community and an area of strategic focus for Regions Bank,” said Chris Cruzpino, market executive for Regions in Miami-Dade. “With this new branch, an innovative enhancement to traditional banking, our customers will now enjoy greater flexibility to bank with us how they want, and when they want.”

The branch team is ready to provide services tailored to the specific needs of individual and business customers.

Customers entering the new branch will be greeted in-person by a Regions financial professional ready to handle their specific needs – from processing transactions to offering advice on how best to reach short-term and long-term financial goals.

“Our customers, whether local residents or visitors to the area, are going to love this storefront location and its convenient walk-up access,” said Carolina Venegas, branch manager. “Not only is there great new technology that expands convenience, there’s also a local team that’s ready to have in-depth, one-on-one conversations with individuals and business owners to discover how Regions can help them accomplish their financial objectives. When people visit this branch, they will know they are in good hands.”

Among its technology, the new branch offers Regions Video Banking ATM service for walk-up customers. Customers may choose standard ATM service – or they can connect with a Regions Video Banker via live, two-way video for personal service during expanded hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Regions’ Video Banking ATMs connect customers via live, two-way video for personalized service during an expanded set of hours. The new South Beach location offers a Video Banking ATM onsite for walk-up customers.

“South Beach is one of the most desired markets to live, work and visit in South Florida,” said Julian Idarraga, consumer banking manager. “We are excited to continue serving this dynamic and diverse community by making banking easier for our customers at this new branch.”

While in-person services are available during regular branch hours, customers are encouraged to use the Make an Appointment feature on Regions.com ahead of their visit as Regions locations continue to limit capacity as a safety precaution amid COVID-19.
